Too many VCs trying to be nice and popular instead of debating entrepreneurs to be as great as they can be. Push them some beyond their limits of comfort to think harder and bigger or surface the bad news earlier and take action early! VCs can add value but most prefer politeness

Exactly why I say 90% of VCs add no value. A few of us do work 80 hrs per week and enable new things to be done that might not get done otherwise, like fusion, public transit ... but more agree than not with you. It's why in 40 yrs I've never called myself a venture capitalist.
