At dinner tonight with 3 other architects from across the country, including 2 I had just met, I realized in architecture, much like Montana, there are no six degrees of separation. It’s one. We all know the same people.

@mwmoedinger I was in 1st year at Montana State. I heard about it in my 8 am Math 160 class and was glued to the TV in my dorm room after that.

I was a first year at UVA on 9/11. Fundamentally changed my college/growing up experience, not to mention the fact my brother enlisted and went to Iraq as a Marine infantryman soon after. Lots of thoughts today.
Also holy crap my 1st yr of college was 21 years ago.
