At one of our projects in Mexico. This is a hyperarid area, with high salinity and low growth rates, so instead of big and tall mangroves like you'd see in other areas of the world, we get 10s of thousands in a hectare that look like this. #Mangroves #bluecarbon

Huge hail in Shawnee, KS. A friend of mine David Caton just sent me this picture. I asked him to cut the hailstone in half. Some are near baseball size. Look at the layers in the one cut in half. It went up and down violently inside that thunderstorm several times!
