5 years old - Mom, I love you.
12 years old - Mom, I can't stand you.
16 years old - My mother is very annoying.
18 years old - I'm leaving this house.
25 years old - Mom, you were right.
30 years old - I want to go to my mom's house.
50 years old - I don't want to lose my mother.
70 years old - I would give up everything to have my mom here with me.
You only have one mom. Take care of her while she's still alive.

Brad Stevens said, "The best leaders are warm and demanding."
"Yes there are great demands, but yes we realize you’re a human being and we're here to help."
They balance the ability to challenge you and care for you.
Warm and demanding is the standard.

Why Should Every Kid Play Sports? 🏆
The world is changing fast.
- Screens dominate.
- Soft skills are fading.
- Attention spans are shrinking.
But one thing still builds resilient, confident, and driven young people? YOUTH SPORTS.
Here are 10 reasons why every kid should play sports: Life-changing lessons that shape future leaders, doers, and winners. 👇
1. Builds Resilience and Persistence - This may be the most important in today's world. Resiliency is a skill. And kids learn this skill when they play sports. Failure is guaranteed. How you respond to failure is a lesson learned daily in sports.
2. Sacrifice Me for We - Team Sports are invaluable. They teach that the sum of the parts is more important than any individual. The power of TEAM is so vital for kids to learn. To sacrifice yourself for the greater good. Accept your role.
3. Leadership Skills - Leadership is influence. We need more leaders in our world, people who will step up and be 'doers. Team sports teach kids the importance of leadership. They learn about the good and the bad and the value of leadership.
4. Build Confidence - One of the most important skills we can teach our kids is the ability to be confident.
To have self-assurance. Sport allows kids to "be great at what they are good at." This helps them learn to use their strengths. And develop confidence.
5. Time Management Skills - A busy high school student who is balancing sports, school, and other activities can handle anything. They learn critical time management skills that set them up for success later in life. This is a big reason why most CEOs were athletes.
6. Better Academically - All of the studies prove this. Student-athletes do better in school. Kids learn to manage so many things, and they are more likely to achieve in school. A huge reason to participate.
7. Social Skills - The social dynamics of team sports are powerful. And kids learn from the good and the bad that can happen. But these skills are life. And kids learn social skills that prepare them for life.
8. Physical Well-Being - Research has proven the positive benefits of physical exercise. Active kids are happy and successful kids. Exercise is powerful, especially in our social media world.
9. Habit of Commitment - This one is big. What is learned when one commits to a sport is incredibly important. The dedication. The daily grind. The habits. The ability to commit to something consistently over time is a skill that reaps big benefits in the future.
10. Prepare for LIFE - Finally, team sports are the ultimate lab setting for LIFE. Sports create many opportunities to learn skills that will be incredibly important when kids reach adulthood. This is why those who participate in team sports become leaders in their careers.
