@OW_SVB What did you have more fun with? 5v5 or 6v6?

Played some 6v6 today and went 19-1 (which is nice, I enjoy winning) My takeaway is that people really love leaning in to the old OW1 'let's all clump at the choke & spam at each other till someone builds ult' game. Felt closer to Marvel Rivals than 5v5 Overwatch

@OW_SVB 6v6 is the GOAT. You’re rewarded more as a player and rewarded for your skill

Aaron Keller on the 5v5 vs 6v6 Debate 👥 The game director admitted they took too long to address it and are still not sure what to do with the data. He fears that multiple core identities may not be healthy for #Overwatch in the long term.

@SamitoFPS Remember when they said it was nostalgia and compared us to a yapping little dog? Fuck them for that fr. Glad 6v6 is in now, it’s still annoying to think they really did that to us OG players.

At the time yeah I think Blizzards hesitancy to address 6v6 was really bad, but in the end they did what was right (or a good starting point) for people who just loved the OG style of play more and brought it back Water under the bridge, hope to see more 6v6 updates soon tho

After listening to the Jeff Kaplan podcast Im 100% convinced that he was the main reason why ow felt so good, and him leaving exactly the reason why ow2 feels so soulless and just overall worse to play
