@malycapp Yes but in all my games people were ACTIVELY voting for those very maps. Whenever given a choice, they would vote for Eich, KR, Hollywood in droves - old OW1 maps that played into choke spam It is the experience the playerbase of 6v6 wants & that's fair enough to be honest abt

@OW_SVB it’s largely a map issue. maps like eichenwalde don’t have many reliable routes to get to point other than main choke so you just get stuck sitting there poking. doesn’t happen as much on koth maps or push or anything that has no payload

Played some 6v6 today and went 19-1 (which is nice, I enjoy winning) My takeaway is that people really love leaning in to the old OW1 'let's all clump at the choke & spam at each other till someone builds ult' game. Felt closer to Marvel Rivals than 5v5 Overwatch

@HappyPorcupines Very low, unfortunately. It's a format that took a LOT of effort and infrastructure (mods, active players, scheduling creators etc.) and since I haven't covered OW in 2 years, I don't have a base of people to organise or participate anymore

Preliminary thoughts going into day 2: - New heroes are mostly fun & unique, not 'it's x hero with y ability' - Lots of little changes that give a feeling of freshness - Most perks seem insignificant but the concept is good - The game still feels like OW (that's good & bad)

Thoughts going into day 3: - Stadium: It felt cool as a mode but also flimsy. Very linear, lots of 'run at each other & spam shit in their direction' - Base game still feels very messy, very cluttered, very 'I guess some bad stuff happened & we lost' feeling Today I try comp!
