George Kirby final line is his first start of the season: 6 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 6 K 4 seam, sinker combo was working, lots of weak contact, generating 8 whiffs total, and picking up a quality start. Our goat is so back.

Hot Take: #stlcards Tai Peete will end up being the best player in the Donovan deal - and that's including Donovan himself. Only 20 years old - 6'3 with a swing that reminds me of a Christian Yelich - he's going to be your starting CF in 2 years.

Remember when Hector Neris INTENTIONALLY hit Ty france The benches cleared and two hitters later KING JULIO homered off that sorry pitcher The Astros have always been dirty cheaters but the Mariners put them in their place

@17776ers Kirby and Miller probably don’t want to sign anything until they prove it. Logan is the most pressing one, seems like they have a good chance bc of his relationship with Cal. Woo seems inevitable at this point. Dude loves Seattle. Get it done, Jerry!

the whole gang will still be here all of 2027 so it’s not a big deal right *now* but the mariners neeeed to extend a starter before 2027 starts. it’s sorta crazy they haven’t done so already

4 days until Opening Day! Our 4th ranked team heading into the season is the Seattle Mariners Notable additions: - Jose A. Ferrer - Brendan Donovan - Rob Refsnyder Biggest losses: - Eugenio Suárez - Jorge Polanco - Harry Ford - Jurrangelo Cijntje Prospect to watch: - Lazaro Montes Montes has CRUSHED baseballs ever since he signed with Seattle, hitting 32 homers last year in 131 games. His defense is iffy, but the bat is legit and could force the Mariners’ hands given their lack of outfield depth outside of Julio Overall: This team is great on paper. The rotation is still absolutely stacked, but health will be something to watch. Bryan Woo and Luis Castillo were their workhorses last season which is not what you expect when you think of the Mariner’s rotation. George Kirby and Logan Gilbert are DOGS and it would be great to see them battle through a full season. Bringing Josh Naylor back was a no-doubter. He brings stability to a lineup that is full of inconsistent bats and a Big Dumper

5 days until Opening Day! Our 5th best team entering the season is the Chicago Cubs Notable additions: - Alex Bregman - Edward Cabrera - Hunter Harvey - Phil Maton Biggest losses: - Kyle Tucker - Willi Castro - Brad Keller - Owen Caissie Prospect to watch: - Jaxon Wiggins Wiggins is old for a prospect at 24, but who cares? He throws GAS, topping out at 101 MPH with his fastball. The Cubs have a great rotation already but will have to have a short leash which makes Wiggins very likely to get a shot at the big leagues this season Overall: The Cubs lost Kyle Tucker and arguably their best prospect and still find themselves battling for the top spot in the league. Chicago added tons of bullpen pieces this offseason, adding to an already strong group headlined by their closer Daniel Palencia. This team could be an absolute force and will dominate once the Wrigley wind goes away
