Agreed - I think he's actually coming up clutch often and getting timely hits - atleast to the eye it seems that way. It's his lack of power - and him not hitting HR's has overshadowed a decent slash line. I was listening to BK's show and Tanner said it wasn't good enough "for Gorman" - not that the slash line wasn't good but it wasn't good for him and I think that's unfair - this might just be who he is and what he is - isn't terrible. It's just disappointing he hasn't had the power you expected and needed. He's less valuable to the club and as an asset but unfair to say he's been bad - he hasn't been. I think those lines get murky with people. He also looks dumpy over at 3rd and noting about it looks good - the saying he makes it look easy - I'd say he applies the saying "he makes it look very hard" and in no way is he a long term 3B - VS a 2B, maybe 1B for a team or just DH if he can get some power back.

RBI single from Gorman Heading into today, Gorm was slashing .254/.329/.403 in his last 20 games. His 110 wRC+ was sixth best among their regulars during that stretch. I’m also skeptical about Gorm’s future with STL but I also think his struggles have been overplayed.

My whole point - expectations for YOU are shifting - for me - for people in the stands - hosting podcast shows and for those who listen to them. The guys in the radio to the guys on YouTube - writing on Rants to the PD - those make up the audience that's had their expectations shifted. I don't believe they have shifted or have changed for those who matter - nor do I believe they will change no matter what happens or how we feel. The way things went in Boston for Chaim - as long as he has the support from this ownership he's going to stick to his guns and see his plans through - because this is his second chance and he's going to do it his way this time. Winning is not only secondary in 2026 - winning is the horse fly that got in his house. There are signs of this already if you just pay attention - like BP issues you saw me mention. This isn't me attempting to be negative or piss in anyone's Cheerio's or a sign I need my meds....(side note) the way people talk about mental health on here is appalling) - alas back to the point. I don't think this is going to go the way you're thinking here - nor the way a lot of fans want it to go - and that has nothing to do with this team - loving this team - feels good to win and who were wining with - likeable squad. If they can get creative and find a long term front line SP in a deal to have for the next 3-4 years as that core guy with the kids - I'm skeptical but could see it maybe. Cheap BP arms - they should be exploring the wide market now - including guys without teams currently or the ones with contracts that will expire due to clauses - for example a Chafin would've been great for this moment. Not too hand tied for that Dawg. My fear and what I truly believe is reality here - they'll win or lose whatever they win or lose until the deadline and no matter what - those wins and success will just be the selling points of a team selling - they'll accumulate those assets - head into a lockout and hopefully if we are lucky - the timeline changed and we see a decent winter of signs or trades for a significant arm or bat to add. This Winter is the only time I see them trans from sellers to buyers - deff won't be this summer. Also Sandy - I want and hope I am wrong - I want to win - I want them to make the playoffs just to say we made it - I just feel like I'm screaming into a void of people getting high of the season and not realizing this dude isn't going to change his mind - and the BP right now is 100% proof of that - say what you want but a team with their record who haven't won in 3 years that has a guy who wants to win - has already started to churn that pen - and honestly not trying to be disrespectful by saying this - if you don't agree with that statement or don't get how easy it is to throw arms into a chipper and churn it - then you don't watch enough baseball. You should know this and I think you do.

I’ve been pretty outspoken recently about how I think expectations are shifting and how I think they could get creative. But this is exactly the kind of deal I would not make if I was the #STLCards

@bluesfanatic20 I'd grab a LH option sitting somewhere in MLB - and 100% I'd call up Fernandez - should've never been sent back down - I'd send Pozo down or away and call up someone like Blaze to have a real bat to play with here and there too. None of this affect any future goals

I've never seen someone manage a 40 man more maddening than John Mozeliak- then Chaim Bloom came along. It's way worse. The fact that he has yet to make a significant move - to really address this BP in a meaningful way - it's low cost to do so and has no affect on long term goals - the fact that Ryan Fernandez went back down is suspect. I think I know the answer here - Chaim Bloom actually has no desire to win - because that makes what he wants to do - what he believes he was going to do coming into this season - more difficult to justify - and ultimately he's still going to blow this team up regardless of where we are - that means trading Noot - Trading O'Brien - Trading May - and maybe even Trading guys like Burleson, JoJo - and heck maybe even Libby. He has no desire to help this team win - because if he did - the pen would've been addressed already . That's my belief right now - and it's soured how I feel about him #stlcards

This has nothing to do with churning a BP or wasting a roster spot on Pozo - or even just calling Fernandez up over someone like Svanson. Not making a move is going to destroy JOJO alone - you can operate like this - So again - I realize everything - and I'm not telling them to go out and trade for fucking Josh Hader here -

Yes it's May 15th - that's a Q way through the season now - and the BP has obvious issues. This isn't a secret - this isn't a well maybe they can figure it out anymore - this team has 1 decent LH reliever and it's wearing him out due to the fact. Yes, I'm enjoying the winning - and ultimately that's fee issue - I want it to continue and unless this issue is addressed it won't sustain - it just won't. I'm not the only one who feels this way - Bernie just made an entire video begging for it - and essentially calling it terrible he hasn't yet. The Cardinals for the 1st time in 4 years look like a team than can contend - yet their roster behavior has suggested otherwise - and ultimately I feel like it's the sign of things to come. We as fans - are expecting more and Will want more to make this year matter - while I feel like the fact we're performing the way we are - is more of an annoyance to this front office - their goals and what they wanted-want to do. Because it won't look awesome following through with their long term plans if we're 10+ games above .500. It's optics and it's common sense to understand that. A team finally winning is usually more aggressive to win when it hasn't won if it wants to continue to win - it does not have a "it's only may 15th" mentality to addressing a BP - and that's the point - and really what does that mean then - it means they not actually want to win - I'm still a great follow - I don't need medication - and I do enjoy the winning - I just don't live in Once Upon of Time land and Chaim hasn't done anything yet to make me run through a brick wall - unlike others it seems. #stlcards Sleep well

You gotta do something cuz man after the 5th hole this lineup just looks depressing- you need more slug - they're not manufacturing runs like they were early - they're really needing the big hit and the big hit isn't coming- they're not forcing runs like they did so well in April. So you need to call up guys who have the ability to give you the chance at getting that big hit . It's not fucking Pozo or Fermin #stlcards
