No Bengali in West Bengal is legally bound to follow any order barked in Hindi language by anyone, armed or unarmed, uniformed or non-uniformed. Knowing Hindi is not a pre- condition of being Bengali. Knowing Bengali is a pre-condition of speaking to a Bengali in Bengal.

TMC leader Nirmal Dutta from Salt Lake’s Duttabad is seen in the video allegedly stating during a speech in the 116 Bidhannagar Assembly constituency, Ward number 38 of BMC : “Aadhaar card and voter ID are linked. We will know who you voted for.
