I took my Mom to @veecon because I thought she would enjoy the speakers @garyvee had lined up. She told me it was the most enjoyable 2 days she's had in years. Her exact words "I have hope for the next generation. They seem to understand that being a better and healthier you is the goal, not to work 70 hrs a week" She raised me that way to counteract my Dad's, work is everything mentality. Not only did I get to hear incredible people reinforce my new lifestyle, but I got to do it with my Mom. Some would be embarrassed to bring their Mom but this conference emphasized why I brought her. I'm beyond trying to impress. Just do what makes you happy, be great at something, and the rest will take care of itself.
