So, this might be heartbreaking to hear, but in fact, allies do spy on each other, consistently. The only nations we do not actively spy on are the members of the Five Eyes global network, which is the Anglo Nations, including US, Canada, UK, New Zeeland, Australia (mostly). The US tapped into EU internet cables to wiretap EU officials, in 2021. Like all of them. All the high ranking military members, all of the presidents, prime ministers. The US spied and intercepted phone calls of at least 5 French President's in the past 20 years. We have spied on Japan in order to get a leg up on negotiations, we spied on their internal government deliberations, and tapped private calls of government officials and major companies. In 2023, when South Korea was discussing Ukraine War and whether or not to give aid to Ukraine, and their general policy, guess which government was spying on their generals and government officials! Plus, there is this country called Israel, and we have been spying on them too! To figure out their moves, to know if anything they are planning on doing, will effect us! In fact since 2023 our spying operation on Israel has ramped up because we need to know whats happening, and they don't tell us everything. Just like how other nations don't tell us everything. Please go check the Snowden leaks and you will discover that if there is a nation on Earth, friend or foe, we likely intercepted their internal information and used it to our advantage, because we would be stupid not to. People have this odd view of geopolitics that allies means we trust each other. Most nations like 99% look out for themselves, and guess what, we certainly do not agree with other nations. Every trade deal, every geopolitical move, everything is a push and pull, someone will be happy, someone will be upset, someone will be swung one way or another. Nations must and always will look out for themselves, and the US will do the same. You can 100% use this as a point against the idea that Israel is our greatest ally, that is fair, but this over the top hysterics because Israel wants to figure out US moves on something that effects them greatly is stupid. It makes you sound like an idiot. If anything this is a point that Israel isn't making the calls, and is not fully in the loop of what the US is doing, because they probably aren't. This isn't a defense of Israel spying on us, its just setting the record straight, that everyone spies on everyone, because if you don't you are stupid.

🚨🇮🇱🇺🇸 BOMBSHELL: The Pentagon raised Israel's counterintelligence threat level to "critical," the highest possible designation, over concerns Israel is aggressively spying on top U.S. officials. According to U.S. officials, the Defense Intelligence Agency issued the assessment in recent weeks because Israel is making "a particular effort to surveil top U.S. officials to get information on the Trump administration's internal deliberations and decision-making" on Iran and Lebanon. Yep, read that again. America's "closest ally" is now rated a critical counterintelligence threat, the same tier as hostile foreign powers, because it's spying on the President's inner circle to find out whether he'll resume bombing Iran or sign the deal. The details are stunning. U.S. officials already use burner phones and avoid speaking in hotel rooms when visiting Israel. A CSIS expert calls Israeli intelligence "hyper-aggressive" and "exceedingly interested in what we are up to." Now stack the timeline. Trump screams at Netanyahu, "you're f***ing crazy." The Axios leak that enraged Levin. Netanyahu's letter designing permanent military integration. Section 224 linking the two countries' military systems and data. And now the Pentagon formally designating Israel a critical espionage threat, in the same weeks Congress moves to wire Israel directly into America's defense industrial base. The two stories are happening simultaneously and almost nobody has connected them. The Pentagon says Israel is spying on America at a critical level. Congress is responding by giving Israel deeper access to American military systems than ever before. At what point does Washington admit this relationship is not what Americans were told it is? I know many great people who are Mormon, but they are not Christian. There are several important distinctions between orthodox, historic Christianity and Mormonism. Christians believe one eternal Triune God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit, same substance) while Mormons believe three separate gods (Godhead), with Heavenly Father once a man who progressed to godhood. Christians believe God created ex nihilo & is unchanging while Mormons believe matter is eternal, creation is organization, & humans can become gods. Christians believe Jesus is eternally God, 2nd Person of Trinity while Mormons believe Jesus is spirit son of God (brother to Lucifer & all humans) who progressed to godhood. Christians believe Bible is sufficient final authority while Mormons believe Bible is flawed/incomplete + Book of Mormon, D&C, PoGP as equal scripture. Christians believe salvation by grace through faith alone while Mormons believe exaltation to godhood requires faith + works, ordinances, & temple rites. Christians believe one heaven/hell & no pre-existence while Mormons believe 3 degrees of glory, outer darkness, & pre-mortal spirit life. Christians believe one God forever while Mormons believe many gods exist & faithful can become gods of their worlds. Christians believe the Holy Spirit is fully God (3rd Person of Trinity) while Mormons believe the Holy Ghost is a separate spirit personage without a body. Christians believe all believers are priests; one priesthood of all while Mormons believe two restored priesthoods (Aaronic & Melchizedek) essential for authority & ordinances. Christians believe atonement centered on the Cross while Mormons believe atonement began in Gethsemane & completed on the Cross. Christians believe marriage ends at death (“till death do us part”) while Mormons believe temple “celestial marriage” is eternal for the exalted. Christians believe one final judgment & eternal heaven or hell while Mormons believe three degrees of glory + outer darkness; near-universal salvation.
