If the US won't let oil into Cuba, will it let a hospital ship out of Cuba and receive all the cancer patients whose lives are threatened by the US embargo? I doubt it. A country that won't provide healthcare to its own workers is unlikely to help sick and dying neighbours.

@ProductionsJAW I think a lot of it has been down to his increasing self confidence over the years, the self belief that he can do no wrong. Thinking everything you do is genius or a hoot and nobody telling you any different is not conducive to good storytelling IMO.

Seeing everyone’s perception of RTD decline over the last few years has been interesting as someone who finds him and a lot of his work overrated. I’d hoped his return would win me around, so I’m baffled how he’s managed to do the opposite and piss everyone else off instead.

I don’t get it. If Hezbollah had flats in this block (unlikely in central Beirut but not impossible) why did the Israelis give everyone inside an hour to get out — including those they wanted to kill? And if there weren’t any Hezbollah people there, why destroy a building with dozens of civilians in it?

@JordanEVGuy @Rawson99 Dialling down the current for safety, it's still a half charge overnight, which is pretty good. The real answer though is chargers in all car parks. We don't expect petrol pumps outside our homes.

A standard street lamp, quietly turned into an EV charger. No digging up roads, it is installed in just 30 minutes. No huge infrastructure projects, a full street can be electrified in a matter of hours. Manufactured and assembled in the UK and fully OCPP. Using what’s already there. For millions of people across the UK, especially those without driveways, this is the difference between “I can’t have an EV” and “actually…I can.” It’s easy to overlook innovations like this because they’re not flashy. No 350kW ultra-rapid chargers. No massive charging hubs. Just practical, scalable, everyday infrastructure doing exactly what it needs to do. And that’s the point. The EV transition will be be driven by everyone having the ability to charge when they need to. Simple. Effective.

honestly, this. i’m not a perfect masker -i’ve been to weddings etc- but i mask on public transport, in hospitals/doctors/supermarkets/if i’m picking up a coffee & so on, and i truly believe if everyone masked a bit more than they do it would shift rates of transmission & illness
