@tuistdev @NachoSoto It’s already a solved problem aside from the fact that Apple has to adopt the fix for widespread deployment. SwiftPM’s inability to let you override a dependency with your own mirror of that dependency (i.e. override apple/swift-syntax) is the issue.

And it’ll become a SwiftPM package trait in 2025. As @NachoSoto and many others have noted before, distributing swift-syntax as a source dependency can add up to 10 minutes to your release builds. This launchenv conditional fix demonstrates how easy it is to fix the issue.
