We really need a "C+" tutorial. For people who know C, but are (correctly) scared about C++ and just want to learn the subset that e.g. most gamedevs use. Does something like this already exist?

@SebAaltonen Honestly, try it at 6000 and you might get a perf bump as the fclk and memory timing will be in sync then.

@SebAaltonen As someone who had the older firmware for my 990 pro and updated it as soon as the update became available, I can confirm this is the latest driver. I lost 2% durability before the update 😢

Samsung Magician says I am running the latest firmware version on my 990 Pro. Hoping that this is true. Don't want the drive to die.

First experience of the new computer: - Desktop is super smooth (144Hz 4K monitor) - It is completely silent in desktop use. Fans run at very low RPM. Can't hear them. What is the best way to stress the RTX 4090 nowadays? I want some ray-tracing :)

@SebAaltonen Excellent choice. My advice, update bios before enabling Expo (XMP) on your ram as most likely the bios you’ll be getting is quite old and a lot of updates have been made to improve compatibility, memory training and boot time.

My computer shipped today! RTX 4090 + 7950X + 64GB CL32 DDR5-6400 + 1000W platinum PSU + board with 2x PCI-E 5.0 GPU slots :)

@tweetsofmo I would assume the memory runs fine at 6000 too. 6400 is just for future proofing. This is AMDs first DDR5 / PCI-E 5.0 board with lots of life time left. Likely going to upgrade the CPU after 2-3 years and buy another 64GB of RAM.

I don't understand this sbt warning I give an `-Xmx=5G` value to the JVM in my CI but it seems to not use it fully What am I doing wrong? 🤔
