@EdKrassen Perhaps we should change such laws, because the USA just elected someone as president who has made it very clear that he thinks anything he can get away with is okay to do, no matter who it hurts or in what ways or how badly or how many people. But, what's done is done.

@EdKrassen Actually that is something that the law currently allows a president of the United States to do, and Joe Biden didn't make it that way. So regardless of whether it was the right thing to do or not, yes it was actually legal, so no he wasn't being above the law.

Tariffs got results in 12 hours, faster than years of unproductive talks. Sound policy balances diplomacy and leverage. Don't let partisan spin ignore the facts.

@OccupyDemocrats And it's worth noting that the tariffs only apply to legal sales, so those are the ones that will reduce and not the illegal ones. But isn't that what he meant when he talked about grating America again? Shredding it, like he did last time? Certainly looks that way.

@JoJoFromJerz It's interesting. Vladimir Putin does acts of war against an ally and claims they're not war, and our government steps in, but someone right here in our own country flat out calls what he's doing against our country War, and our government does nothing to stop him. At least, yet.

Sorry but this guy sold out to the establishment not once but TWICE. He gave his support to the very people who cheated him without extracting any concessions, not one. He gaslighted his own supporters, told them Biden wasn’t demented & was “the most progressive pres. since FDR!”. And told his supporters to vote for their oppressors TWICE. He went along with Russiagate even when the Democrats used it against him! He’s a liar & a coward and he missed his chance, I don’t know how anyone could believe anything he says ever again.
