@ACPhilElonSucks @LesBowen They have paid him 158mm in cash through 2026. The cap hits taken are about 73,5mm. So just under 85mm in dead cap to trade him next offseason. I know Spotrac’s website has different numbers, but they are wrong. It is cash paid less cap charges taken. They tweet right numbers

Yep. The Eagles have other financial priorities right now. A potential Hurts extension will be on the table next year. That doesn’t mean they are dissing him by not redoing his deal way ahead of schedule. If this season goes well, they’ll certainly look to do that. Until then, 🤷🏼‍♂️
Kei@RealMamaEagle

I’m not sure who needs to hear this Jalen Hurts is under contract through 2028. He’ll be 31 at that time. The tweets presenting as if he’s a FA after 2026 aren’t landing. You look stupid and uninformed.

ESP points out that all the debate about Jalen Hurts this week isn't "because of Jalen."

@LesBowen Also, this guy is an idiot. Jalen has 73.5 million of gteed money - 51.5 this year and 22 in 2027. There’s no reason for either side to talk extension now. Why would Jalen do that off a down year and before letting the market appreciate?

Look up how contracts actually work and get back to me. AS I SAID, a Hurts extension becomes an issue next offseason. He will still be under contract through 2028, regardless of guaranteed money. He PROBABLY will get a new deal next offseason. Probably doesn’t mean absolutely.
Alex | Elon Sucks@ACPhilElonSucks

@LesBowen thats not true at all. He only has 20 million dollars guaranteed on his contract. He's essentially a lame duck.

@Beardaknowledge And why are we assuming Jalen is seeking an extension after a down year when he has 73.5 million left in gteed money? This idiocy was started by @EliotShorrParks and people with no clue about the cap are running with it. Neither side wants to talk extension now

If the Eagles really want "more" from Jalen Hurts before an extension is given... they risk 2 things 1. Him proving everyone wrong again and making that next contract more expensive than it would be if done now 2. If he is asking for it now and they say no... he may play hard ball and give less team friendly structure Get the deal done now Even with his flaws... you're not finding much better than him to QB the Philadelphia Eagles

@LesBowen More importantly, why would Hurts wanna do a deal off a down year when 2026 is gteed and 22mm of 2027 is gteed. Neither side wants to talk now. Meanwhile, no noise about Lamar has no guarantees after this season and we don’t hear a thing

@MegaJawn13 @RealMamaEagle 22mm of his 2027 comp is gteed. Next offseason is the time to talk extension. He is only in year 3 of his 5 year extension. No way either side wants to do a deal now

@RealMamaEagle It is idiocy. Neither side has any reason to talk extension. Jalen is fully gteed in 2026 and 22mm in 2027. Why would he try to extend off a down season? Eagles can’t create cap space with extension. This is all thanks to @EliotShorrParks being a moron Lamar is out of gteed $

Your gas is more expensive. Your food is more expensive. Your mortgage will be more expensive. All because Donald Trump is fighting a war in the best interest of Netanyahu and his right-wing government. What an epic failure.

@4TaxFairness Wealthy people already pay almost all the income taxes. So this war is paid for by them and buyers of US debt. No developed country has a more progressive tax system than the US, based on taxes paid. cato.org/blog/united-st…

The war in Iran has already cost us $200 BILLION. Who's gonna pay for that? It shouldn't be working people, who oppose the war and are already struggling to keep their heads above water. Wealthy elites wanted this war. They're the ones benefiting. Tax them and make them pay.

@TomSteyer So keeping your own income is now "theft." Curious - did you pay ordinary income rates or capital gains from your 20% incentive fee at Farallon? No? You paid cap gains or zero if unrealized? Guess you're a thief you hypocrite

Since 2012, California's wealthy commercial property owners have avoided $243 billion in taxes. That's theft from our schools and communities. I'm going to close that corporate tax loophole and put money back into Californians' pockets.

We can no longer tolerate a rigged tax code that enables billionaires to pay a lower effective tax rate than the average worker & corporations like Tesla & Palantir to pay ZERO in federal income taxes while making billions in profits. Yes. The wealthy must pay their fair share.

@katieporterca Why are you OK with your buddies using NGOs to steal taxpayer money? We have a for profit HC system. Don’t like it? Get a Constitutional Amendment to make HC a right. Otherwise stop the government waste and theft

Why are we okay with 18% of our healthcare premiums going to administrative overhead, marketing, and CEO bonuses? That’s money stripped from our nurses, our hospitals, and our families. California can—and must—do better.
Katie Porter@katieporterca

Donald Trump’s attack on our healthcare funding is a crisis, but it can also be an opportunity. If the federal government won’t protect Californians, we will build a system that does. A single-payer system that belongs to us.

Ok, Jamie: Let me clear things up for you. If my 5% wealth tax on billionaires was enacted you’d owe $135 million more in taxes & a family of 4 making $150,000 or less would receive a $12,000 payment. Oh, and you’d still be worth more than $2.5 billion. Seems pretty fair to me.
Acyn@Acyn

Kilmeade: What do you say to people like Bernie Sanders who says billionaires don't pay their fair share? Dimon: I don't know what he means by fair share
