This is peak desi 🇮🇳 abroad cringe that needs to stop NOW.
Three young Indian women in Germany spot a German putting out stuff on the street (yes, it’s called Sperrmüll - people leave usable items for anyone who actually needs them). Instead of minding their business like normal adults in a civilised country, they:
•Film the entire thing from their balcony like it’s some street circus in Delhi.
•Yell and chatter loudly enough to disturb the entire neighbourhood.
•Then strut down in their nightwear/home clothes like it’s a Mumbai chawl, grab EVERYTHING in sight like ragpickers on a gold rush, and haul it back up like they just won the lottery.
These aren’t starving villagers. They have jobs. They live in Germany. India is the world’s 4th largest economy. And yet they couldn’t resist the freebie mentality that makes us look like the world’s most shameless scavengers.
This isn’t “smart saving.” This is embarrassing. This is why the world rolls its eyes at us. You don’t fly to Europe and behave like you are at a free government ration distribution. You don’t empty the street so nothing is left for people who actually need it. You don’t treat public space like your personal scrapyard.
Indians travelling to EU or anywhere in the West:
Stop this cheap, low class behaviour. You are not in India anymore. Leave the “jo mil raha hai le lo” attitude at the airport. Respect local norms, respect privacy, respect your own dignity, and for God’s sake respect India’s image.
And to the women in this video, if you are reading this: stop fucking India’s image with your dehati mentality.
If you can’t afford it, don’t come. If you can, then act like it.
