If PRs must pass the waiting period of 14 days after being accepted, that means only PRs submitted <= Oct 17 are valid. :( Pretty sad about this because I worked hard on my PRs @digitalocean

Hi @hacktoberfest! I completed 4 PRs during Oct, and had the 4/4 status, but today I see my last PR merged Oct 22 to the python/typeshed repo marked with #Hacktoberfest , which was in the 14 day waiting period suddenly become invalid. Is this a bug with the waiting period?

@christinewhy @digitalocean I have the same issue, also on python/typeshed Maintainers removed the hacktoberfest topic, making the pending hacktoberfest contributions invalid. There is no going back in the hacktoberfest algorithm apparently, once a PR is ineligible it stays that way...
