@simbjoe @realMax0r Never saw anything about "as the crow flies" so I assumed that the distance did not take elevation/the shape of the Earth into consideration. Also consider the fact that it might be somewhere where it's constantly moving/inaccessible, which would make it much harder to get.
English

@voltdamia @realMax0r "Exact distance from the box" is as crow flies (point A to point B, ignoring roads/terrain).
Each week draw a circle of the distance given from you location. Move. Get another. 3 weeks 3 circles which will intersect at a single point giving you the exact location of the box.
English

@simbjoe @realMax0r That's only of the distance given you is as the crow flies or it takes into account the topography of the Earth. Nothing suggests that either of those things are the case, so we can safely say that the distance given is your exact distance from the box, as it already says.
English

@voltdamia @realMax0r I haven't made any mistake. If the distance given to you is as the crow flies or it takes into account the topography of the earth you still only need 3 measurements to pinpoint a location. Hope this helps
English

@voltdamia @thebasedhound @S2artMike @realMax0r The curve on a single country is negligible, so unless you live in the us or Russia you can calculate the rough location using circles.

@The2AFan @sola_chad Luke22:32 and Luke 10:16 are two examples that I found after a rather short search. Usually I would go much deeper but I'm planning to start to study up on this particular topic this summer, and I'm also focused on other things atm. Is it okay if I get back to you later?
English

@voltdamia @sola_chad Maybe you can back this all up with some verses in the bible?
English

@The2AFan @sola_chad No good Catholic believes that the Pope is always infallible. We believe that he's infallible under very specific circumstances.
English

@choffstein 1000 people are sent this same message, and they must compete to find the box first. Only the person who finds it gets to live.
Boom, it's a movie.
English

Week 1: Don't move. You are given distance D1.
Week 2: Go 100 miles north. You are given a new distance, D3.
Week 3: Go 100 miles east. You are given a new distance, D3.
Draw three circles on your map based on your three starting points and their radiuses D1, D2, and D3.
Where those three circles intersect is where the box is.
You have 49 more weeks to hone in exactly.
Good luck.

Absolutely not????

@Absurdum14 @RamblerAdam @sjryanwriter @uncledoomer A. The Earth isn't flat
B. It could be on a mountain or deep in the ocean
C. It could be on something that isn't stationary.
First two make it take four tries and the third might make it impossible.
English

@RamblerAdam @sjryanwriter @uncledoomer No, because you know it’s not underground, nor is it floating in the air. Buildings add a tiny wrinkle, but in that you can overcome pretty easily.
English

this hypothetical brings out two types of people: people who would take this deal in a heartbeat and be 100 million richer within 3-4 weeks, and people who failed geometry

Absolutely not????
English

@simbjoe @realMax0r I believe that you've made the mistake of thinking about it in 2 dimensions. If it was on a perfectly flat surface than yeah 3 weeks would be enough, but the Earth isn't a perfectly flat surface so that wouldn't really work. Hope this helps.
English

@realMax0r The fact people are arguing over it taking 3 weeks is worrying.
English

@thebasedhound @S2artMike @realMax0r If it was on a plane then 3 weeks would be enough but because it's on Earth 3 weeks wouldn't be enough, since Earth clearly isn't 2 dimensional. This is also not taking into considering that the box might be somewhere that you can't really get to.
English

@S2artMike @realMax0r Okay smarty pants why would triangulation not work?
English

@maverick1979453 @LibertyPillMeme I'm honestly confused why people using this as an example of "Smart American" Every American I know could answer all of those questions with the exception of the Africa one. Americans aren't as dumb as a lot of these sort of posts make them look.
English

@LibertyPillMeme lol, thats easy, how dumb are you Americans?
English

@thisdogcanbite @LibertyPillMeme Those were very basic questions lol, all of the Americans that I know could get them easily. You're probably just used to seeing the dumber Americans on social media.
English

@LibertyPillMeme She is AI, no way an American more so a woman can get almost everything
English

@GigaBasedDad I think the one at 43 seconds is wrong. (You can ignore my profile picture for this one🙂)

@_breckan_ @Templarpilled It's not my favorite but it is one of them, I honestly think that it's seriously over-hated.

"The kids who grew up with the sequels will love them out of nostalgia and make them popular. That's why the prequels have fans!"
A five-year-old who saw The Force Awakens in the theatre will turn 16 this year.
Kids who grew up with the sequels have already reached posting age.
They just don't like them that much.

@IsThat_A_NewZit @ManMilk2 That was actually the first thing I noticed lol, first time seeing it on twitter.

@jakey2511 @MimCotton @Thebestfigen Every number is multiplied by the number that is 1 above it. 6*7 = 42, 5*6 = 30, 4*5 = 20, 2*3 = 6. I see that some people probably thought that it was by the number above it, but the 6 doesn't have a 7 above it, so that doesn't really work out too well.

@dude_guy54178 @Rothmus Yeah I think that's mostly Canada, although there are some where I live(California lol) that are like that .
