Is there a name for the writing trope where the guy who discovered a fantastical thing never just straightforwardly explains what it is and all of his "notes" or "research materials" left behind are just weird gibberish to give the plot suspense/a puzzle element

You are 100% correct and I’m convinced that application answering, interview prep and CV skills are not taught in school anymore. The amount of CV’s I see that are horrendous is high, a lot from school leavers looking for their first role too. There are jobs out there, thousands across the U.K!

@Chesschick01 I support a ban on nicotine for kids. But a rule that says some adults can and some can’t is ridiculous. If an adult can pay taxes, join the army, vote etc then they deserve the right to consume what any other adult does.

@emilyhewertson I used to be an anti-smoking fascist, from the 1970s onwards, but I now bitterly regret my fanaticism. I still don't smoke but I miss the scent, it's not a stink any more. And smoking is the one addiction with no anti-social side effect behaviour whatsoever.
