@whitja@TheStaad Thats exactly the point....He is the only person in the world who is considered a myth and a symbol of contradiction! Thats cements His Authenticity in my view!
@NASA_Tim@TheStaad Only two deaths (James, and Judas by suicide) are recorded in the Bible. Early church tradition confirms Peter’s crucifixion and strongly suggests Paul’s execution. Accounts of the deaths of the others come much later, vary significantly, and in no way are considered confirmed.
@TheStaad The fact that 11 of the 12 died proclaiming that Jesus was risen is proof to me that they weren’t lying. If it was a conspiracy to hide His body, at the point of death, they would’ve given it up.
@LDTemplar@TheStaad People have died for things they believe to be true throughout history. Jim Jones’s followers committed mass suicide for the man they believed to be the messiah. Men martyred themselves by crashing airplanes into the Twin Towers for Allah. The wish to believe is a powerful thing.
@TerryRo31438315@TheStaad How do you know? And how do you know Jesus of Nazareth wasn’t one as well? You don’t. You can hope, you can wish, you can believe, but you do not know.
@TerryRo31438315@TheStaad The followers of Jim Jones—who declared himself to be the messiah—did. And if you’re too young to know what I’m referencing, google it. 1978. Jonestown, Guyana. Over 900 committed suicide for him, including 300 kids.
They died for an absolute truth. Jesus did resurrect from the grave on the third day after his crucifixion. They witnessed his live body after the resurrection so did 500 other people. He presented proof positive that he had risen from the grave. That was a truth worth dying for.
AMAZING footage flooding out of Iran RIGHT NOW, massive crowds of Iranians CHEERING, BLAZING their car horns, waving flags, and straight-up CELEBRATING like it’s liberation day as the Khamenei regime CRUMBLES at the hands of Trump!
