If you like that original roughneck style, then maybe you grab a pair of Buzz Rickson or Bronson chinos, which are made from heavy duty, stiff cotton designed to break-in over time. These come in a high-rise, fuller leg fit. Wear them with chambray or denim work shirts.

Cool heads and facts are called for with the @artscouncil_ie failed IT project debacle. It should not be used to undermine support for art, artists and audiences. It's no excuse but custom software projects are notoriously prone to failure and going over budget. Just Google it.

@urban_comp Down with sport coat over jeans! Texture and fit of jeans and coat very hard to match. Shoe choice makes it worse. Look awkward 9 out of 10 times. Boy-man trying to have it both ways. When I am finally in charge this look will be illegal for non-Redfords.
