We're so deeply fucked by even the most minor tech in cars that we consider useful and "functional design". Right when you need maximum attention to make a right turn over a busy intersection, Toyotas beeps your brains out that there is crosstraffic (FCTA feature). No shit sherlock, I am trying to make a right turn. Can't disable it, if you do, it turns on again on the next restart. Can't disable it using OBDII port either. I want a less "safe" car. The benefit provided by this stuff is offset by the risks of constant beeping and alerts that take your attention from the road. It also becomes useless when it really matters because it is constantly beeping all day everyday and all of the beeps only function as annoyance/distraction, but never its intended purpose due to extreme attention saturation.

99% of indie games I see don't: - Ship with a small file size - Run well on old hardware - Use simple, direct code Too much bloat. Not enough craft.
