@writercollin I assume you meant future tense, which is why I voted no. But having the characters operate in a particular world without explaining it to the reader is how I write.

A hypothetical fantasy book/comic of new setting and new lore, but it pretends you already know the history of the setting and doesn't explain things. The story is still coherent and has a complete plot. However the author talks in future sense. Would you read said book?

It saddens me when I have to deny someone trying to make an art request/commission for NSFW and I tell them I will not due to my faith... and then they say "but I'll pay you".
No money could convince me to hear another sin added to my book on judgement day. They don't get it.

"That's why you're not gonna make money on art" I've heard replied. So far that's been untrue, I've gotten quite a few commissions sticking to my principles. It's just harder.
