Yes I support eliminating gerrymandering nationwide. It is wrong, What most people fail to grasp as they are purposely misinformed by the Left & media. This would actually net seats for Republicans as Dems have more stolen districts.

This is the color-coded map of yesterdayโ€™s election resultsโ€ฆ.. People who majority voted โ€œNOโ€ live in the purple areas. How can anyone think that redrawing and gerrymandering our Congressional district lines is โ€œfairโ€ for Virginia? Shameful what the left is doing to our Commonwealthโ€ฆ..

Donโ€™t even spend an ounce of thought thinking about the lower court decision on the Virginia redistricting. Itโ€™s a rogue county thatโ€™s always overruled. AG Jay Jones has this under control. Carry on and keep celebrating!!!

Reporter: What do you make of Republicans saying that Virginiaโ€” AOC: Wah wah wah. We have asked Republicans for 10 years to ban partisan gerrymandering. And for 10 years, Republicans have said no. Republicans have fought for partisan gerrymanders across the United States of America. And these are the rules that they have set. And so if the Republican Party wanted to start this, they did this in North Carolina. They drew out three Democratic members of Congress in North Carolina. They did it in Texas. What theyโ€™re just mad at is that they have been accustomed to a Democratic Party that rolls over, doesnโ€™t fight, and takes everything sitting down. And what theyโ€™re mad at right now is that we are here in a new day. And we have been asking the Democratic Party to stand up and fight, and now they didโ€”and now the Republican Party doesnโ€™t like the fact that they are fighting against someone who actually will stand up for the American people. So if Republicans decide that they would like to revisit a ban on partisan gerrymandering, I welcome them. We have the bill right here to end this all today. But they donโ€™t want to, because they like pursuing and continuing to enact an unfair electoral landscape. And so we have an obligation to defend ourselves.

House Majority Leader @SteveScalise on Virginia redistricting referendum: "It's a blatant abuse of power to disenfranchise millions of Virginia voters, and hopefully the Supreme Court of the state will not allow that to happen."

After the Virginia Democratsโ€™ efforts to redistrict in order to increase Democrat seats in the House of Representatives, South Carolina should consider fighting fire with fire. ย  I would encourage South Carolinaโ€™s next Republican governor and the Republican legislature to seriously look at what our stateโ€™s response should be to Democrats in Virginia. ย  Republicans in South Carolina should consider being bold and fighting back.
