@_bone_broth @poopswag34 Children can’t usually speak well, make friends, utilize fine and gross motor skills, eat a variety of solid foods, or communicate why they’re upset until 1-2. Of course that’s when development deviates, it’s when you can notice the deviation

@cybersection8 @poopswag34 but you have to be dogshit at them to get a ASD diagnosis. Not to mention lack of motor skills, making friends, needing an AAC, etc. Yet there are plenty of people w autism who have those traits who are insanely smart. There’s a reason it’s an incredibly common stereotype

@cybersection8 @poopswag34 Lmaoooo this is such a stupid take 😭 2e is a real clinical term for a reason. Also there are many traits you have to have since childhood to get a diagnosis, including communication and social emotional understanding. Many people with OCD are perfectly fine with those things
