@meg_maclaren @KentPaisley There are fewer characters on LPGA tour than in the past (because other than Nelly, the tour is dominated by Asian players). They play really well, but fans don't want to watch events where 9 of the top 10 on the Leaderboard are from 🇰🇷🇹🇭🇯🇵🇨🇳. That's DOOM for TV ratings.

@KentPaisley I agree about characters, but most sports have shorter careers than golfers. I’m guessing it’s more to do with the number of them every week, it’s probably harder for people to get to know individuals

A lot of chat about the first women’s major of the year not having big crowds, limited tv time, and a general lack of ‘something’ (not an 18th hole water feature though).. despite a potentially generational American talent dominating from start to (almost) finish. To people who have any kind of interest, what do you think is missing? What needs to happen to bring the eyeballs, in your opinion? Women’s golf doesn’t deserve to be written off, because the ingredients are there.

𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: Ex-Raiders WR Henry Ruggs is making $2.50 an hour at a Nevada prison camp just 1 mile from where he played at Allegiant Stadium. Ruggs pleaded guilty to driving drunk at 156 mph and crashing into a car, killing 23-year-old Tina Tintor and her dog. Ruggs is up for parole in August of this year.

@TheEXECUTlONER_ @TheQuest_1 I highly doubt the rule is for personal pickup trucks. Many HOAs have rules against "commercial pickup trucks".

This man lives in an HOA community. He was fined $1,400 dollars for parking his $90K pickup truck in his driveway. There is an HOA rule in that community that does not allow you to park your truck in the driveway. You have to park it in the garage. You can park any car in the driveway but not a truck. So, he paid his $1,400 dollar fine in coins which he delivered to the HOA’s President, in buckets. I guess you should really look at the rules before you buy a house in an HOA community. Have you ever heard of an HOA having a rule of not being able to park your pickup truck in your own driveway? What would you do?

@tyromper 3- This might sound odd, but it's not easy to shift from being a life-long SAVER to a big spender. I can afford any luxury car, but I'm hard-wired to shop around for a used-car deal. It requires a shift in mindset to break out of it!! 4- The son should talk to dad with a plan.

@tyromper Other perspectives: 1- Boomers were raised by dads from Depression/WWII era, so they SAVED their💰. They aren't mind-readers, so they might not be aware of needs. 2- If they give one child a big stack of💰, the other kids will want their stack or a Bigger family problem is born.

I don't understand the boomers that hoard all their wealth from their kids. I have a good buddy that's struggling. Married with a few kids. He's smart. Graduated university with great grades, got hired by a good company, & did everything "right." He got laid off over a year ago & told me he's sent 10,000 resumes in with no job offerings..... He's working side gigs but his family is stressed. His folks are retired & in their 70's. His dad recently told him he's got north of 15 million invested!!! My buddy said he didn't say anything & didn't want to be disrespectful but it perplexed him. Why wait until you die to gift it to your kids?! It's worth more now helping out in my opinion that in 20 years when you die & you give 25 million to a 55 year old that's also then likely set & not stressed. You can gift like what 16k a year tax free too. It's their money, & when my folks sat my sister & I down for the inheritance talk we both said we don't want/expect anything you raised us well so do you!!!! But, I guarantee if I was in this guys shoes my folks would offer help. I don't understand the logic not to.
