yk I hear this but it feels like black people are always expected to extend grace when common sense says not to use a word that is used as a slur also as a celebrity

@jiaermusic this was directed at people who want him kicked out of the group. there is so much history behind the n word but to automatically equate this word to that bc there is no direct translation is the issue. He didn’t use the word in a slur context and once he realized he apologized

@jiaermusic I get that as a global idol he should educate himself but that’s what he’s doing now and I think that’s where giving grace comes in. ppl like blackpink on camera said the n word are still successful, attending the met gala with no apology. In that case that is blatant disrespect.

And no it’s not really for others to decide where grace is given. that’s bp’s fandoms choice, nothing to do with this. he’s a 25 year old grown man, is he that stupid to use a word like that still as an idol?
