@linuxopsys All the linuxes should have an arrow leading back to Apple with the label “okay so I gave it a shot but I found out that I just want my stuff to work, not fiddle with it constantly. But I still like the Unix bits.”
English

@linuxopsys Can someone explain to me how I went from Debian to Apple?
English

@linuxopsys I love the way the arrows leads to Apple. 😅
English

@linuxopsys Apple users always live rent free in Android and other Linux distro users head 😆
English

@linuxopsys Mint is so overrated. It's a fork of a fork. Just use Ubuntu or Kubuntu. Or even better, Debian. Debian these days is just as good as Mint or Ubuntu.
English

@linuxopsys Why do people still think apple laptops are expensive. I can literally buy a brand new MacBook Air M1 at $650 with same performance as a $1000 Windows PC.
English

@linuxopsys This is based on the users, not the OS. Linux users may hate macOS users but they don't hate the OS.
The opposite is true for Windows. Many windows users are just Linux users who don't know it yet. Windows users are fine, but we hate Windows OS. Just based on my lurking

@linuxopsys Replace knee highs with thigh highs and I'm in
English

@linuxopsys I don't see any of the BSDs here.
AUTOMATIC FAIL.
English

@linuxopsys I don't have high knee socks now and not in the future.
I use Arch btw,
English

@linuxopsys You forgot to put #nixos in the chart
It'd be like not mentionning Debian 25 years ago
Just my point of view of a former (many several years) Ubuntu user (Ubuntu which is a fork on Debian that used debian packages for YEARS) that switched to #nixos without planning to come back
English

@linuxopsys Where would Linux from scratch fit in this? What about NixOS or Vanilla Linux for that matter? BSD?
English

@linuxopsys As someone who wears knee high socks, I can confirm.
English

@linuxopsys "self-admitted geek" ✅
This is pretty accurate, but you should replace Debian with Nix.
English

@linuxopsys With windows, fedora, macos and a couple ubuntus on servers and one arch on an old laptop I feel personally attacked, you guys shouldn't be so harsh...
English

@linuxopsys So I’ve got a MacBook Pro for development, my desktop is dual boot Windows 10 and LinuxMint, and largely everything I set up now (servers and the rare laptop) is Debian. What does that make me? 😅 (Bonus, unkempt beard)
English

@linuxopsys is this an ellaborate scheme just to say “btw i use arch”?
