My water rates went up 29% in the last year. My council tax went up 6%. My grocery shop has gone up about 15% in the same period. My BT bill has gone up about 8%. My gas/electric has gone up about 10%. Even with the triple lock, my state pension hasn't gone up in line with the above. And I'm sure the same is true for working people too. This isn't the fault of the vast majority of the population. It's incompetent governments. For decades. That's led us into this pickle.

@SandyofSuffolk Welsh Water - huge increase to its customers and it seems a proportion of the money we pay for our water goes towards those ‘vulnerable customers who are unable to pay their bills’

@lisadark12 @SandyofSuffolk Dangerous modern trend of letting customers off paying their bills. Starting to hit electricity bills. Finish up with bankrupt utilities like Africa. Politicians need to look at this as well as netzero stupidity.
