Low key I managed to opt out of this era, both jobs I had had easy fizz buzz stuff. I got promoted aggressively while in roles and only moved jobs once.
Plenty of failed coding screens still but never got too deep in the weeds
And now AI coding is here so everything is technical chats in realtime

I’m so glad AI killed LeetCode interviews. For 10 years, tech companies made every engineer grind the same puzzles and prove they could invert a binary tree from memory. Today, the dumbest AI model can walk in and one-shot the entire interview. Thank you, AI.
