I am pretty much the only White American dude on my organization at a director+ level at one of the largest security companies in the world. And anytime an Indian leaves or any other person for that matter they are almost exclusively replaced with another Indian. Its actually incredible that there are no White thought leaders, PM leaders, VP level leaders anymore in these companies. The funniest or saddest part about it is that if you spend any time with them on a technical level, they know absolutely nothing, they are completely inept and are almost always worthless at any part of their job. As someone that also has to deal with customers, it is almost exclusively Indian engineers on these other customer teams. I am shocked and elated when I get to deal with any sort of white American team. Rare and far between these days.

@pumpinuhard @romanhelmetguy Genuine question, how do things keep going without good leaders? How long do you think they can stumble along like this?
English

Alot of copying other companies and products, poaching other companies leaders. Most of the products are buggy messes, lots of issues with them. Enterprises still buy them, as A. They dont have a choice they need the tool for audit purposes or compliance reasons. B. The other really common practice is at least now the companies that are buying these products are also Indian, so you can kind of understand how that goes. They are all very tribal, lots of really interesting cultural differences with the different Indian tribes though they are racist as hell vs their own also.

@patchwork26 @pumpinuhard @romanhelmetguy There's widescale outages weekly, the economy is imploding, and our representatives are trying to replace us with foreigners thinking it avoid their getting lynched - what makes you think it's still going?
This is parasites eating a fat corpse, not stability.

@patchwork26 @pumpinuhard @romanhelmetguy Most of the sales of these companies are fabricated sales force is the biggest lie told in the 21st century.

@patchwork26 @pumpinuhard @romanhelmetguy For most industries (health care, banking, shipping, tech, etc) we're in the glide phase of the descent
The plane is still in the air, but we have no engines, attitude control is sluggish to non-responsive and the terrain awareness system has started trying to get our attention
