@009sagejay @Welsh_Lady2 I'm still not sure if the current engine has the steel alloy piston heads like it was reported before the season or if the new engine has them. It's pretty unclear what is going on with the Ferrari engine.

Big news for Ferrari. Ferrari has received FIA approval for their 2026 power unit upgrade under ADUO rules! The new engine (closing the ~2% / ~25hp gap to Mercedes) is cleared to run from the Canadian GP onwards. The upgrade will be on the thermal side of the PU. They might introduce it then or wait for the Barcelona. This will put a pressure on McLaren first. Waiting to see the news on Redbull. Note 2-4% deficiency will allow for 1 upgrade in 2026 and 1 in 2027. More than4%, it will be 2 upgrades in 2026 and 2 in 2027. Big step for Maranello! 🔥 #F1 #Ferrari #ADUO

according to federico albano (@Fred__18), charles put together his own team (not ferrari related) to study the data and the new power unit. "i think leclerc's approach, personally... as far as i know, he organized a team to study the data separately, to comb through every detail - a team at his home, not necessarily ferrari's - comb through every detail from these power units, i find his approach... charles is still young, he'd have some justification for being tired of never having the winning car because i think we can all agree he has the talent to be champion - him having such an in-depth reading instead is something i think is extremely serious and professional."

@TheeLastUzumaki I have 0 expectations the only upgrade package that came that was actually good for Ferrari was like 2nd half of 24 that's it 21,22,23,25 car always got slower or was unreliable.

I'm kinda disappointed with Ferrari, I'm not angry or anything but, I feel like they left Lew out there to dry. It's like what James Allison said that one time; Lewis always performs, if he's had a bad day It's because they'd failed to give him the car.

@kingsleymomor @VeldinNZ The PU and engine is important but the aero, chassis, suspension effect the car way more overall. Like last year the car would cut out sometimes or go into limp mode from the bottoming out so you would need the break down and the whole car for that data to make sense.
