@frankdegods You are wide beyond your years frank. At 23 I was in my 5th year of college doing whippets and listening to dubstep.

For as long as I can remember my life has just been shouldering other people’s problems. No matter what, there’s always a problem. Every day. For every problem you solve, people lay on more onto your shoulders. They think “he handled that, let’s give him more”. Some days, I just want to say “I can’t handle this”. But that’s not the right answer. Because the problems never go away. The worst thing that can happen to you is to be stuck on the same problem for too long. So at a certain point every man just has to accept that in the pursuit of doing great things, their entire life will just be shouldering other people’s problems. People on the outside will think that you’ve “made it” but that’s not real. That’s the fairy tale. There’s no escape from problems. And the only way you can truly “make it” is when you accept the responsibility you have as a man, partner, leader, and friend. And after accepting it, you learn to find purpose in it. Freedom isn’t the absence of responsibility. It’s the acceptance of it.
