Protecting communities from intimidation matters. Hugely. people should feel safe to live! No negotiations on that.
But democracy isn’t optional.. The right to peaceful protest is fundamental any ban risks handing too much power to the state. We can and must defend both safety and the freedom to dissent.
I would never call for Tommy Robinson marches to be banned either.
