Incidentally, Mejiro Bright and Mejiro Dober's father is Mejiro Ryan. Mejiro Bright was strong in long distances of 2400 meters or more. He also won the Tenno Sho (Spring). Especially in his senior years, he had very consistent results in distances of 2400 meters or more. However, the generation of Grass Wonder and others was strong, and even in his preferred distance, he was often defeated by Grass Wonder, Special Week, Seiun Sky, and Tsurumaru Tsuyoshi, finishing in second place. Furthermore, Mejiro Farm, where Mejiro Bright belonged, was once a very large farm, but it no longer exists. And Mejiro Bright was a horse from a time when Mejiro Farm was losing its former glory. The story of Mejiro Bright in Uma Musume becomes even more moving when you know that Mejiro Ranch no longer exists.

Why do some hate the protagonist of a gacha game being the main focus of said game? I hardly ever see this with GFL, personally I feel like this has to be with skk being more of their own character rather than a self insert story wise,
