@WokeFloridian @gaitanalyst @GraduatedBen Check out the Su-35. Now there is a multi-role fighter that doesn't have to spend 90% of it's time in the hangar getting serviced which is true for the F-35. The US military industry is mainly about profit, I thought this was common knowledge?

Nobody knows how it will end but this is all embarrasing cope. The mullahs have played their two cards: shooting at everybody in the vicinity and closing the strait. This ammo is spent now. They can't threaten it, they've already done it. And they haven't detached the gulf states from the US, they've pushed them closer. At this point their only hope is that the US gets bored or distracted or that oil prices get catastrophically bad: but even that doesn't buy them a win, just breathing room. How do you imagine this works if the US halts a bombing campaign? Do you think we apologize and hand them the keys to our F-35s? Do you imagine the sword isn't STILL hanging over their head? Best case scenario for the Iranians is that the US unilaterally declares a cease fire. And the Iranians don't even get to hit us back if we stop bombing them because they know very well that a terror event against Americans just means we gain the political space to hit them much, much harder.

@politicalmath The guy that owned the place got things resolved, but the bank I was using decided it would be a good time to be dickheads about everything. Switched to a different bank and never used that bank or pizza place since then.

@politicalmath Years ago, a local pizza place screwed up and instead of my order being 25.75, I awoke to a charge of 25,750 sitting on my bank account. The employee I got when I called asked me if I was sure I hadn't placed an order that big, as if they wouldn't be shitting themselves over it.

It's funny to me what experiences cause people to abandon a brand Ten years ago, I was taking my kids to the beach. I stopped by Jersey Mike's to grab some food for the fam. They took my order but neglected to mention that they had just taken a 20 sandwich order from the guy in front of me. I had already paid. I waited for my food. I checked on my kids (still in the van). I waited. I asked how long. They said "almost". It was not almost. It took 40 minutes. My kids were crying. The entire trip was ruined.
