@IndianKid23 @bitpaq @MLSMoves Which teams are playing in this match? Where is it located? The pricing would make more sense if it's two very good teams who draw well and it's in one of the larger markets. It's a completely different scenario of it's two crappy teams in a so-so market.

When the 2026 World Cup was announced for the United States back in 2018, I told myself there was no way I’d miss it. I was going to be there in person, experiencing a World Cup on home soil and I know so many of you felt the exact same way. Fast forward to now, and the ticket prices are completely astronomical. Outrageously unaffordable. What was supposed to be the dream of a lifetime has been priced out of reach for regular fans like me. I’m going to miss watching my country host the biggest event in sports… something I may never get to experience again in my lifetime. Yes, they’re going to make money off this massive event on U.S. soil. But the greed has gone too far. It’s ruining the beautiful game and turning it into something only the wealthy can enjoy. A World Cup should be for everyone not just those who can drop thousands without blinking. This is an absolute shame.

@elidourado @ManagerTactical I actually don't mind this. If we are chasing a goal, we could keep this formation but take Johnny out and have McKennie play on the left. This would allow Reyna to play the 10. There wouldn't be much defense there, but we definitely would be a threat to score.

If I am Pochettino I’d build the USMNT 🇺🇸 offense around Balogun and not Pulisic. Balogun is our biggest threat, defend well and quick transitions. If the 🇺🇸 wants to pull any upset in the World Cup that will be the way. Balogun is deadly in transition, he makes the right runs but the players need to feed him!

@11Yanks CP comes across as being a very skilled but weak minded prima donna. That's been my impression of him for years. It's the way he talks in interviews and how he makes excuses. There is a reason why he isn't captain anymore. I don't think this will fuel him but I hope I'm wrong.

Between refusing to play in the Gold Cup, to his poor form for the National for the last year or so, Pulisic is well-worthy of all the criticism he's getting. Your best player getting dragged for underperforming is normal everywhere in the ⚽️ world. Now can he use that as fuel to find his old form for the World Cup? Up to him.

@chrisalta @BearsPurgatory We need Tyler's defense and he needs to be able roam & hunt. But, he tends to pass the ball laterally or backwards. I think we should pair him with someone who sits back yet tries to pass the ball forward as much as possible. To me Tessman's style of play complements TA better.

I just don’t see Tyler and Johnny playing together as a great fit. Both defensive minded. If we can’t connect through the middle and break the lines, then we’re pretty much just playing through the wings. Not a good setup. Gotta pair an attacker in there. This is exactly where Musah over Johnny works best. Better Box to Box midfielder, strong on possession, breaks the lines, runs for days.

This is the best lineup. If we don’t play a 3 back system we very well may get grouped. The best option for the #USMNT🇺🇸 is to play a 3-4-2-1✍️. Pochettino needs to stop tinkering and goofing around and stick to this. I’ve done the work for you, Poch👨‍💻. Use this lineup and we will make some noise. We should compete in this #WorldCup🏆. Anything less is a failure and unforgivable. Side note, I prefer this lineup orientation even though it’s opposite what lineup builder wants. Get over it🤫.

@11Yanks I would do... Freese... Trusty, McKenzie, Freeman... Jedi, Wes, Tess, Weah... Gio, Tillman... and Balo up top. Let them swim or sink for 45 min, then make pre-planned changes at the half. Sends a message to Puli and the team. Play well or sit.

Whatever lineup we go with v. Portugal it's gonna be a long night. This is probably the best I could piece together given the injuries. Still not convinced we should start Richards with a knee issue but it looks like he may start. This isn't what we'll get though. It'll be Roldan, Berhalter, Arfsten & Ream.

@11Yanks Making pre-planned changes at the half would allow for better planning and maybe less loss in continuity while allowing for more evaluation and to test other combinations.

If you want a positive USMNT 🇺🇸 outlook: If they play how they did in the 1st half vs 🇧🇪, Richards + Adams return and Pulisic catches good form, we could win 1-2 World Cup knockout games. If you want a negative USMNT 🇺🇸 outlook: If they play the way they did in the 2nd half vs 🇧🇪, we will get grouped at home. If you want a realistic USMNT 🇺🇸 outlook: The 🇧🇪 game won’t matter, the 🇺🇸 will advance from the World Cup group stage and lose to the 1st decent opponent they face.

@11Yanks Love the lineup. Largely they are playing well but Puli is not looking sharp at all.

I don't hate this lineup at all. Turner gets a chance in goal, McKennie next to Johnny in the double-pivot, Weah replaces Dest at RWB and Tillman gets his shot next to Pulisic. Let's go boys!
