No bonding time, no time for the child to learn to trust their adopted parents? Regardless of age its necessary for child and parent

What do you make of Labour's promise to extend statutory maternity pay from nine months to a year if they win the election? The Conservatives claim this could put jobs at risk but what do you think? Is it a step in the right direction or unrealistic? #JeremyVine

@CathyGlassUK just finished reading 'the saddest girl in the world' and wow. Was hard to read, i immediately had to find out how she is doing now, it's so nice to see she really has done well. She sounded like such a sweet girl.

@Care15156 @DeepsBilly @JeremyVineOn5 for me, we did not need to be Well off, they just didn't want us in huge amount of debt. Plus nobody came round to measure our bedrooms, and we are now in process of adopting our 2nd child. It is quite upsetting that those are stipulations for your area to adopt.

@JeremyVineOn5 I adopted, jumped through no hoops as our social worker done it all for us. Took us 9 months from deciding to adopt to getting our baby. My theory, enough kids are born needing their forever homes, why spend thousands for the same thing.

@5WrightStuff If you don’t charge your kids rent, what is their incentive to move out? They get to live for free while their parents cook, clean and do everything for them.

Should parents make their grown-up kids pay rent? More than a quarter of 20-34-year-olds still live at home. They add an extra 5k a year to bills but if you ask them to pay their share all you're doing is slowing the rate at which they can save a deposit for a place of their own!
