Some figures in this country are using the law to enrich themselves. They know that there are crooked lawyers and judges who will come in their absense. No matter how you see, you cannot tell me PAO is innocent even tho theres no money paid to the said parties involve.
This is the reason why I dont fully support democracy.
Just Look at it this way and think about it this carefully.
Paul attempted to portray himself as a victim of a coordinated effort to arrest and humiliate him without cause, despite knowing about Manasseh and OSP's investigation.
For Paul to go on TV a month ago claiming innocence and suggesting he was targeted for his political affiliations is questionable and calculated effort to create some kind of impression to the minds of Ghanaians
Even though no payment was made to Evatex, a sister company of the controversial SML, the process for awarding the Ghana Airport Company Revenue Assurance Contract raises serious questions.
Carefully think about this;
Devnest Systems pitched to the board three times and got contract approval, only to later claim they couldn’t execute it and recommend Evatex, a company with no relevant experience, allegedly introduced by Paul. He didn’t deny this when questioned. Evatex Logistics falsely claimed to be licensed for revenue assurance.
While I’m cautious about making accusations based solely on allegations, it’s evident that someone with a stake in Evatex’s profits likely influenced the deal. No one without such a motive would approve such a flawed procurement process.
It was calculated attempt to milk the state and its hard for me to believe that PAO didn't have a stake in this deal.
Using the law to steal in the name of democracy is the reason why I like Communist countries like Russia,China and Saudi.
