I post things about Vietnam military. A quote to reflect: "Amateurs talk tactics, professionals study logistics" General Omar Bradley.

All VCM variants in one picture with their name for easy to ID. Viettel able to spam 6-7 variants of VCM in just a few years, after they mastered the cruise missile technology. Show how indigenous the Viettel's VCM is that they can customise and tailor it to suit their need.

With Vietnam finalizing the deal for SPIKE ATGM months ago, could we see VPA infantry squads transition from carrying 2 B41M (RPG-7) to incorporating a two-man SPIKE ATGM team in the futre? Also, will this change extend to mech inf squad currently operate with 2 B41M per squad?

@Hng64603099 This is even weirder when their inf squad at least has 1 grenadier but mech inf turns back into plain rifle-based and nothing else.

@0bserver4 No surprise, because Indonesia squad firepower is literal crap so they have to cherrypick and have to pull cope out of their ass to justify their mediocare firepower.

@annadashzvezda You mean the standard loadout for TNI Army Infantry squad that is not much different (1 grenadier attached) from the TNI Army mech inf?

I can see why some Indonesia doesnt like the overall direction of that thread. Indonesia Army mech inf still stay with rifle-based CQC for clearing room to room in urban warfare. Making it very personal for them hence trying to find fault in Vietnam standard loadout.

@annadashzvezda Does the squad/fireteam leader control every individual rifle too? "Can I shoot that target, Sergeant?" Never in any proper chain of command? Concentrate firepower on value targets, seldom the usage of RPG and 40mm if not needed. Before they engage, outline such task or target.

@0bserver4 Do you have any idea what PAVN TTPs would be if every rifleman is a grenadier? Does the squad/fireteam leader control the grenade salvo or is it just to enhance individual firepower?

@kaboom__vn @Zbiesu If you fully load AK mag and let it sit for a long time, the spring loses its tention. VPA doctrine also prefers short engagement, then regroup, assert the situation before engaging again. Not a long engagement hence it all makes sense for low mag count.

@kaboom__vn @Zbiesu Don't look at the number of mag per troop. There is a practice by VPA to have troops carry spare ammo on their pouch. A reason why they would rather carry a low number of mag is AK mag have spring that loses its tension -> increasing the chance of failure to cycle.

The F-15 “friendly fire” claim is either *lie* or a US command failure. But something is OFF. After talking to experienced military sources, here’s how we KNOW the reporting is cover: * Kuwait uses three types of air defense system: >Patriot >Improved HAWK >SHORAD A SHORAD type air defense would not reliably take down an F-15. An improved HAWK *could* hit an F-15 BUT because a hawk requires constant radar illumination, the pilot would be alerted to the lock by radar detection, could deploy chaff, activate ECM, and take maneuvers against it. So a hawk striking 3 planes is deeply unlikely. The Patriot system can reliably strike targets like an F-15, and so we know it’s likely this was the system used. * Patriot systems rely on multiple ID types to engage a target: >Radar track behavior rules (it only shoots at things that act like a missile) >IFF signature (a broadcasted automatic signature between fighter craft and ground systems) >Link-16 (an integrated system for IDing friendlies in the air space, that is shared via integrated command) >Air tasking order data (the equivalent of an issued flight route) * F-15 broadcast an IFF that Patriot batteries can detect when the proper encryption key is shared with allies. * Kuwaiti Patriot batteries support Link-16 integration with US data when properly shared. * Our agreement with Kuwait to operate regionally requires sharing all Air Tasking Orders in their air space. * After a single friendly fire joint emergency command orders would need to be shared with Kuwait. In order for Kuwait to hit 3 F-15 with Patriot friendly fire in one night would require ALL of the following: * We didn’t share IFF encryption keys or ID data with them, or were not broadcasting IFF. * We did not share Link-16 data with them, or Link-16 broadcast capabilities were destroyed. * We did not share Air Tasking Orders with them. * We did not share emergency alerts with them after the first ejection took place. * The area was under extreme barrage of missiles FAR more than reported. * There was no AWACS data sharing, or no higher level C2 node integration, or these were damaged. So either: 1) We made an operational decision to ignore our standard practices and leave an ally in the dark, not share data and risk American lives OR 2) The Iranian attack was *far* more successful than the US let on, and damaged critical ID and comms infrastructure of US assets in Kuwait. Either way, we are not getting the real story from the US side here. People with contacts in Kuwait, or active command, should be asking serious questions about this blunder. As it likely points to a gaping hole in US defense that puts our service members at serious risk!

RUMOR: CS2 Farmers hit with Ban Wave ‼️ > Ban Numbers were much higher than usual on February 25th > EVERYONE who already has the Blue 2026 service medal (or higher) has been banned > There are MANY other cases of people with 'high tier' 2025 service medals who got banned > Still no confirmation on whether Armory farmers got hit as well, but Valve usually sends out these bans a bit before dropping Armory updates. They normally target all sorts of XP boosting, so it's likely

@Luuminah When the public can not see or assert something, the publisher can push whatever narrative they want. Just like Youtube hide the like/dislike number. Next time, you tell me we should hide the vote count for the president, right?

@hydropod01 @realngudaz Now realise you fall into this sloppy slop, your main argument right now is pushing for high casualties = human wave. Good luck, not gonna waste my time with you anymore.

@hydropod01 @realngudaz Yep, you're playing very nice with your throw away account that acting like a wumao online. You mentioned the Battle of Laoshan and claim VPA uses human wave tactics is a classic textbook of wumao on the internet.

Australia claimed it to be only around 108 troops holding when they have few dozens artillery and helicopters is just bluntly stupid In VPA report, there’s RAF 6th battalion there and we effectively dealt with Australian led to their lesser combat roles later on
HP@hydropod01

@realngudaz Google Vietnamese human wave attacks and let me know how it goes yeah? Outnumbering the opponent 20:1 and still FAIL in human wave attacks is just so fucking sad. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of…
