@PsychedVantage This is based on data from Fidelity, so wouldn’t be shocked if it was inaccurate. Makes sense on the share account for ATAI. Reads like institutions haven’t given up on HELP just yet.

English

Depending on where you’re looking, Apeiron and Ferring Ventures don’t show up for $ATAI because they file 13D/G not 13F based on my knowledge. The Beckley merger also increased share count which might push institutional % down. On top of that, important to keep in mind we don’t see the most up to date numbers.

Update:
Started position in $HELP.
As always, this is not investment advice. I share to stay transparent and spark conversation in the community.

Updated neuropsychiatry drug development portfolio allocation (Individual + Roth IRA) Sold out of $ANRO for 415% gain 🤝 (still think there is a lot of potential with ALTO-207 in TRD). Bought $SPTX (have had my eyes on this company for a long time now) and a little bit more of $ATAI, $SCHD, and $VOO. As always, this is not investment advice. I share to stay transparent and spark conversation in the community. -Jake

@Drug_Researcher @Rainmaker1973 Thanks! Pretty wild Bill Wilson may have been on the right track all those years ago.
English

@0dayshay0 @Rainmaker1973 Yes. For the FDA pathway they still have to go through formal approval post phase 3 studies. But I think the data justifies principled acceleration, as with the recent executive order.

A landmark clinical trial has shown that a single dose of psilocybin, when combined with psychotherapy, can be a highly effective treatment for cocaine use disorder, a condition that has long lacked effective medication options.
In the first randomized controlled trial of its kind, researchers at the University of Alabama at Birmingham found that participants who received a single dose of psilocybin were far more likely to achieve cocaine abstinence than those given an active placebo. At the 180-day follow-up, 30% of the psilocybin group remained completely abstinent, compared to 0% in the placebo group. Those who did not achieve full abstinence still showed significantly reduced cocaine use.
The nine-year study was notable for its strong focus on diversity: 82.5% of participants were Black, and most had low annual incomes. No serious adverse events occurred, confirming the treatment’s safety in a carefully controlled clinical setting with psychotherapy support.

@Drug_Researcher @Rainmaker1973 Do you think psychedelics have a chance to be a part a standard treatment plan for substance abuse disorders? Too early to say?

@Rainmaker1973 As an author on the study I'd be happy to answer questions. Here's the full paper, open access. jamanetwork.com/journals/jaman…

@TheLAPurchaser I believe the Gen X market is wide open with Meta Ray-Ban’s or Google Warby Parker‘s not moving the needle as cool brands. But I could definitely see myself wearing Google Warby’s a middle aged dad guy.
English

@TheLAPurchaser Yea I know. 😂. Put aside the SBC stuff & think about the long term: a hardware business plus AI software development with one of the best product guys alive. If Specs are the right price & become a “cool” product with young people they can then build from there. Launch is key.

$WRBY - THE FORGOTTEN AI WEARABLES PLAY
Thesis: $2.5bn Mkt Cap with a $10bn AI glasses opportunity. WRBY is +30% today as investors begin to appreciate the sleepy retailer is transitioning to a consumer AI hardware enabler. WRBY will be the first AI x Consumer pure-play story in the US.
Product: Google x WRBY AI glasses are launching in 2H. WRBY is the first (and currently only) $GOOGL mass market retail partner in the US.
Catalyst: NEXT WEEK (5/12), $GOOGL will lay out the roadmap and ecosystem for glasses at the I/O hardware day.
Market: $META / $EL.FP have already defined the market, targeting 20-30mn units of production capacity.
"Blue Sky" Math: If WRBY sells 10mn units, it's $4bn/$1.2bn in Rev/EBITDA. At a 20x mult, WRBY's upside case is +750%.
WRBY's CEO: 'We believe they will be the world's first truly intelligent AI glasses designed for all day and everyday wear...These glasses have already become essential to our daily routines: we're reviewing our schedules and adding meetings to our calendars, checking cross city travel times, and working through complex math problems right off the whiteboard. I even had them help me review my son's Spanish homework. The best part is that they integrate seamlessly with the apps we and billions of other people already use every day'

@TheLAPurchaser Great idea and call out. What you think about $SNAP as a similar play for Gen Z? Given the potential size of the trend and valuations it feels like both could work.
English

WHY THE MARKET IS ASLEEP? Simply, a small cap with slowing fundamentals.
Outside of the knife fight that happens in consumer pod land, WRBY is all but left for dead...
• $2.5bn small cap. Stock down -65% Last 5 yrs.
• Holder's list is mostly index + HFT funds.
• 11% Short Interest
• Slowing topline

@evrgn11112231 Will be interesting to see how Mark monetizes AI to the level he needs to without a cloud or enterprise business. SNAP could capture the 16-24 demo with Specs & eat into Meta’s hardware lead. Zuck is more of a Gates. Great businessman but won’t be remembered for product vision.
English

Not sure, I'm not an Apple guy, this was just the result of my own deep thinking this morning as it relates to what I'm feeling with Claude Code and trying to think to other tech parallels I've experienced in life.
Apple to me is completely lacking in vision today though.
Disagree on the FB/IG points.
English

Mark Zuckerberg is the closest thing we have today to Steve Jobs, IMO.
The biggest difference is that while Steve was a designer who perfects then ships, Mark is an engineer who ships to perfect.
And right now, $META is $AAPL pre iPhone.
I will die on this hill.
Evergreen@evrgn11112231
Zuck is the goat. $META

@alexeheath @buccocapital Specs incoming later this year. “Also, a hardware company now”

@evrgn11112231 @JerryCap @gordie_smith Mark is the better operator but Evan is the better product guy. Building software just got a lot cheaper. Especially for a founder with a clear vision of where to go. What if Meta fails to monetize their infra spend to the level they need & Specs is a winning hardware product?
English

@0dayshay0 @JerryCap @gordie_smith How do you determine that he is "better at product"?
By all objective metrics, he is in fact, much worse?
And how would AI be an equalizer if they are lacking models and compute infra - you know, the things you actually need?
Apple is also screwed LT imo.
English

The only thing $GOOG needs to fear and $META stealing search share.
Lisan al Gaib@scaling01
im still very chill about the google situation they have the research, data, compute and money to crush everyone
English

@evrgn11112231 @JerryCap @gordie_smith I understand the skepticism, but Evan is the better product person and AI could be an equalizer for them. Also about to be a real hardware company that, like Apple, can buy their compute from Google. Almost a billion monthly users etc. Both can win. We shall see.
English

@0dayshay0 @JerryCap @gordie_smith SNAP... the subscale unprofitable company growing revenue 1/3 the rate of meta with declining NA user growth and no native AI capabilities or compute infra? we talking about the same company?
English

@JerryCap @evrgn11112231 @gordie_smith Block out the SBC comp stuff & look at SNAP & think about where this could go. There’s a chance Zuck is the Gates in this story & Spiegel is the Jobs. Mid 90’s Apple was the sh!t-co & Jobs was the hippie that didn’t know business. I could change my mind, rn I like the set up.
English

@evrgn11112231 @JerryCap @gordie_smith That’s what makes a market. Good ideas, taste & knowing where to go are now the game in technology. Evan is only 35 & one best product people in the business. That guy owning his own hardware with 10,000 coding agents could be a BFD. We’ll see. All 3 could be winners or losers.
English

@JerryCap @evrgn11112231 @gordie_smith 😂 yeah buddy, I said that and believe it.
Although I do think Meta’s ad platform is best thing Mark has ever built. Let’s see what happens later this year when Specs roll out. We may look back and think it was obvious that SNAP had the better set up for future returns.
English

@evrgn11112231 @gordie_smith @JerryCap Since vision is even more important when building products with AI, in the long term (5-10 years), I’d rather bet on Evan Spiegel than Mark Zuckerberg.
English

@gordie_smith @JerryCap "Search" was merely a point in time of the internet.
The open web is dead. The next internet belongs to $META.
