@txgermanbre We think of diversity differently, like when we are from different countries and not thinking of diversity as based on skin colors but cultural differences/influence. My school class may perceived majorly 'white' but it had 14 European nations together. 'White' is American tag.

Right. The whitest place I’ve gone to was Czechia and rural Germany, even in big cities outside of certain areas it’s not that diverse at all.

Don't know what button others press, so only way to ensure all safe is go blue. Red-pressers aren't necessarily bad; just no faith in humanity & can't believe result won't be >50% blue. I wouldn't want to live in a world of >50% red-pressers anyway, so press blue with no regrets.

Some Japan/manga/anime-fans outside of Japan don't think of it as bad, but many cultural circles do not see lolicon/shotacon as harmless. That should be respected as we respect it that you don't mind it in your culture.

@txgermanbre worker protection law protects you, you can't loose your job or insurance while you are on maternity leave. You only may not get financial governmental support if you are 'rich enough' to provide over a threshold, but you get all your maternity leave -time.

My dumbass got confused and thought it meant that I didn’t get maternity leave and would lose my job and insurance. I don’t care about the money, I care about having a job but enough time to recover with our baby when that comes.

@flipseider @Kcin_Point Both options are valid. The 'winning conditions are a trap', no one can win this tough game. The game internally counts with red as well as blue pushes 'equally'. You overthinking whether there is a right or wrong answer. There truly is not.

@flipseider @Kcin_Point No one would ever think to stop a train with their bare hands to save someone - unless they may under influence of drugs and delusional they are superman - but any other normal human being jumps with intent to push, pull or get the person off the tracks, not to stop the train.

@flipseider @Kcin_Point your instinct is not to stop the train but to the person and yourself off the tracks. Likewise pressing blue is not to save strangers. It questions your willingness to give up your 'save red vote' if you have doubt about someone you love (not strangers) unable to save themselves

@0dd0ddette @Kcin_Point If you see someone fall onto the subway tracks, and you jump down in front of them in an effort to stop with your bare hands the oncoming train, then yes, that is an example of a fruitless gesture of hope in service of trying to save someone.

We will never find out which option actually would have more votes. trying to convince 'the other side' is wrong is actually 'fruitless'.

I'm telling you how my decision process works. It isn't something you have to divine. And "save myself" vs "save everyone" are not the options, as I see them. That is what I have been trying to tell you. The options are "save myself" or "unalive myself in a fruitless gesture of hope".

@flipseider @Kcin_Point I don't judge whether one picks red or blue. It only becomes a mess when people 'debate' red should win/has to win/ will win like it's some sort of political campaign or popularity vote to win over voters by trying to adapt logic to their choice.

@secretstanlife I agree. But as of now it is not forbidden either to use AI elements in support of creating "fanworks/fanfiction" (I call them fan-urks) - despised as it may be by the likes of us - but not forbidden to use it as a tool.

@0dd0ddette @HidreMeg @nemcroBehr そうですね。 ただ完全な創造物が誰かを傷つけるわけではないので、表現の自由が刑事罰によって裁かれるのは間違いだと思います。 一方、肖像権や著作権侵害などについては、権利者によって訴えられる可能性があります。 両者は同じフィクションの括りだとしても明確な違いがあります。

@secretstanlife well, offtopic but - I can agree with you on that, personally - but that is not how those AI nutters pose their works as 'art' themselves. We still have no general working laws on how to protect artists from their art getting swallowed up by AI Data without their consent either.

@0dd0ddette Yes and it's still all fiction. When your likeness is being used for AI or Deepfake it's not fiction anymore because it doesn't belong in that category at all. The moment genAI pictures or deepfakes are involved we cross over into copyright and identity theft.
