@whoreshasha @OWGrandma ultrasounds can’t see endo unfortunately, unless there’s a concentration of it forming an endometrioma (chocolate cyst)! It’s part of what makes it difficult to diagnose

@OWGrandma I'm sorry you had to go through that 😩 I had a pelvic ultrasound recently and everything checked out but I struggle with IBS, and my periods and hormonal imbalances, did you have a different type of ultrasound to get a diagnosis? 🥺

Before I found out I had stage 4 endometriosis, my doctor kept telling me I just had IBS and got mad when I saw a urogyno "behind his back".
I begged for an ultrasound which he gave me but said "when there's nothing on it you have to admit there's nothing wrong with you."
