The infant mortality rate automatically goes to 60% simply because of having a teen parent.

No one EVER SAID that the new parents should be abandoned on their lack of readiness. You are mixing two arguments together. They are not the same. Also, who is to blame for the lack of readiness? A society that does not prepare and educate women to be mothers at young age. They are to blame.
