Happy with my performance at my 1st Regional.
Strong Start at Sydney that sadly bubbled out, as I went 3-1 before ending on 4-4 Placing 116th out of around 314 Masters.

@CeliaBedelia I have ARFID and it's so much better being able to put a name to it now but there are so many people that wont respect it and make life worse for everyone involved for no reason

I want to address a recurring comment I’m seeing, including some version of: “Being picky is different than having celiac disease, and I think you know that.”
Yes. I do know that. And that distinction completely misses the point of my post. I try to be as positive as I can on this platform, but I’m going to be very direct here—as a mother, and as someone who is tired of seeing comments like this dismiss lived experiences instead of engaging with what’s actually being said.
I wrote about being labeled a “picky eater” my entire life and then being diagnosed with Celiac Disease years later because labels often come before understanding. For 28 years, I was criticized, shamed, and dismissed for what I could and couldn’t eat, long before I had a medical explanation that made people suddenly decide my needs were “valid.”
I have an 11-year-old son with ARFID, and I’ve watched him face the same kind of judgment in a much shorter amount of time. People are quick to assume defiance, immaturity, or bad parenting because they don’t understand how overwhelming food can be for some individuals. That struggle can come from ARFID, sensory processing differences, autism, anxiety, medical conditions, or reasons that are frankly none of our business.
My post wasn’t an argument that all picky eating is Celiac Disease. It was a defense of people who are judged before they’re understood…and often before they understand themselves.
Yes, I now have a diagnosis that makes my food restrictions socially acceptable. That doesn’t erase nearly three decades of shame. And it certainly doesn’t justify why we ever thought it was appropriate to police what someone else eats in the first place.
If someone’s plate bothers you more than their lived experience, that might be worth reflecting on.

@CeliaBedelia Celiac's disease is different from just being a picky eater and I think you know that.

@gradientspectre Of course it's important to remember tango was the one who died to a berry bush in DO2
English

one of my new favorite skizzango moments of all time
Spectre ★@gradientspectre
#SKIZZ: I just died to a silverfish, that's not embarrassing- #TANGO: [Laughter] I JUST got done saying "No one will ever die to a silverfish, maybe one person in the history of the game-" LITERALLY the second game- #SKIZZ: WELL WHY DON'T YOU CLEAN THIS DISGUSTING PLACE MAN!!

@cecililytweets A few people used it but I can't recall any good results with it

When Sun and Moon came out I was mostly playing singles, and I really liked to use Z-Splash with Mimikyu because it would give a +3 attack boost
Does anyone who was playing VGC back then knows if this was viable?
