How I'm playing this $TOLYBOT position on @MeteoraAG. Didn't open at the top, waited for a 10-15% drawdown first. 6 SOL deposit, bid-ask, -65% range (wider than the default 50% for a bit of safety). Few days in, currently +1 SOL. Selling fees near the top, letting it cook.

20 to 200 SOL Challenge | Day 34 Current position: 42.41 SOL Total Progress: 12.45% I’m back. After rugging myself down to 31 SOL on the weekend, I managed to recover most of my losses between yesterday and today. There’s a lesson here. Even though there was volume during the weekend, I had no focus while making risky plays. I ended up closing positions and taking losses too early or too late, then rage traded and made it worse. I was also so tired that I went to bed at 6:30 p.m. last night and woke up at 5:30 a.m. I don’t recall ever sleeping that long. I’m thinking of avoiding degen LP on weekends, or at least not while doing other things. But if I make that decision, I don’t know when I can work on this challenge, as my life is quite busy at the moment and will be even busier in the second half of this year. Should I switch to boring multiday LP? I do that in another wallet and it’s performing well. But I like degen plays and the rollercoaster of emotions is fun. 😅 Anyway, just wondering. one thing i wish i knew when i started LPing: tight range with knowledge is the alpha. not tight like 7%. tight like 20-40% downside max. sounds contradictive but this is what the consistently profitable LPs are actually doing. i've been watching wallets in @met_lparmy and @MeteoraIDN discord for months. the ones who print 10-20% every day share the same pattern: tight range, early entry, high volume only, and they almost always 5-7x montly from their initial. the tradeoff is one bad entry wipes your whole day. so here's what actually separates the ones who survive. be locked in. you need to be on gmgn sorted by volume on wakeup. sounds painful but if you're full-time LP this is just your daily routine. alternatively set wallet alerts for early wallets you trust. totally worth the setup time. or just join @met_lparmy discord know why the token is pumping/dump. basic but most people skip it. avoid: elon-related, display name changes, political tokens with short catalysts, devs claiming fees. if the catalyst is valid and you're in within 5-20 minutes of the news being issued, mostly you'll survive. dump caused by bad news that sounds like never recover also need to be avoided. know who's pushing the token. bubblemaps won't help here. mark wallets that move the candle when they trade. if a wallet buys and the candle rips, that's a smart wallet, KOL, or large holder worth tracking. i have around 300 wallets tracked for this. tvl/volume ratio is how you outperform IL. 5x volume/TVL on the 5-minute timeframe is the threshold. 50k TVL pool needs 250k vol per 5 minutes to make a quick play worth it. below that fees won't cover your IL risk. once your intuition is shaped from enough reps, tight range becomes the most consistent strategy on @MeteoraAG. not the easiest to start. but the one that actually prints. some people who use this strat @pesaluyy @0xmoreen @iryzal_ @venufitratama14 @Voidgoesbrr @demicuan much more but those people i saw mostly.

Ma configuration est toujours la même : - bid ask - assez large, au moins -66% - $SOL sided, toujours et c'est tout, tu te fixes quelques indicateurs d'exit signal sur le profil de @EvilPanda par exemple concernant les bandes de bollinger hautes ou un RSI élevé, on demande pas grand chose si le volume est présent et que des millions passent sous mes yeux, pourquoi ne prendrais-je pas ma part pendant que je dors ou que je travaille ?

This post never made so much sense to me... LP is not the wonder I thought. You have two options, LP big stable pairs, where you need a big bag (5 digits at least) to make some decent fees, or you go with memes... and we all know what the risks are. You won't lose 99% in a trade, but you'll lose it with 5/10 bad trades. Less risk, but still big risk. Right now I'm at my 3rd big rekt. It was so bad that I returned to where I was 7 months ago. So, I spent hours and hours, daily, during months to earn nothing. Saying it's frustrating is being kind. Unfortunately my LP journey is near the end, so you'll probably stop seing me around. After all, LP was my motivation to show up everyday. There's no motivation at the present moment for me. Anyway, wishing you the best and wishing you a great day!

This was a stack of mistakes, not just one. 1) I overinvested: The original deposit was too much compared to the size of this wallet. Big mistake. 2) I got involved in the narrative and lost a lot of time figuring out if I should HODL or just cut losses. 3) Hope for a bounce was the only thing keeping me from cutting losses, but there weren’t many signs of recovery. 4) This could have been avoided. I had many chances to close with less than 2 SOL loss, which would be easier to recover. I’m now setting a stop loss for cases like this one.
