One thing I wish I knew when I started LPing was that most LPers in the @met_lparmy community are in red - same as me.
Saw a guy quit after months of grinding, just to end up exactly where he started.
That’s the part nobody talks about:
LP doesn’t kill you in one trade. It slowly drains you, if you don’t manage risk.

Wonderful 2nd day of the month. LazyPandaBot v2 is running hot. As I posted before the problem previously was that it was holding losing positions for too long, so I tightened the exit criterias and now we have a much more profitable bot with smaller managable losses.
My 2 years of DLMM knowledge has been hard coded into a bot and it shows how much I have learned. I hope it does not fall into any traps this week and keep printing green days until end of month.

I totally get it. I really do. I've seen you be profitable and was always impressed.
I've had my moments where I worked my ass off to get 20 SOL and then I'd scale up and manage to lose it on something stupid in one go. Partially those are the times I would step back, look at it and say, what do you do? And I'd scale down the size, rebuild my confidence again. And adjust my strategy to for the market conditions.
I'm not giving advice, just trying to relate.
While I hope you'll take some time, reevaluate and get back in later since you know you CAN win. It's all up to you though.

LP is not the wonder I thought.
You have two options, LP big stable pairs, where you need a big bag (5 digits at least) to make some decent fees, or you go with memes... and we all know what the risks are.
You won't lose 99% in a trade, but you'll lose it with 5/10 bad trades. Less risk, but still big risk.
Right now I'm at my 3rd big rekt. It was so bad that I returned to where I was 7 months ago. So, I spent hours and hours, daily, during months to earn nothing.
Saying it's frustrating is being kind.
Unfortunately my LP journey is near the end, so you'll probably stop seing me around. After all, LP was my motivation to show up everyday.
There's no motivation at the present moment for me.

I understand your point of view. What hurts more is not the loss, after all, i've been losing for years now, I never been profitable in Crypto. The real pain is spending 7 months of your time, rest, family, etc... trying to learn a skill, being profitable, having a win rate of almost 90%, just to get back to square one, with zero profit. That's frustrating...

Damn man this breaks my heart to hear. I've taken massive losses more than once. Many of them were painful lessons of things I did wrong, or didn't stick to my plan, or just bad luck. That happens too. Even the very best out there get rugged sometimes. It's super frustrating and deflating. It's taken me a good while to be profitable consistently and even then, I've seen myself taken steps back. And during those times I've shifted away from those riskier memes and into safer plays. Not just the big stables you mention, there are things in between, is not all one or the other.
This is just me, but I've definitely had far more success with LP than anything else and I've tried my hand at a lot.
I'm not going to try and convince you, that's something only you can decide. I do hope to see you around.

@MPCrypto Not agreed, slow steps creates big capital. Im working $150 for each $10 step in SOL-USDC and it generating fees for me.

@MPCrypto Memes LPs are really hard tool, which usually bring you only losses for sure. Thats why need to pause, change strategy and return back, if want. But for sure, much better just stay in stable pairs.

Here is how I turned a -50% loss to a +20% profit.
Last night my bot found solana:GUfyGEF62BUUqj5f5PveZknhBQMWWFSXm2jqAdikpump - usually it asks me but because of a recent update it decided to enter on its own.
It made 10% and closed the position, I was in a meeting and saw the gud fee tek & felt pretty good about myself.
Fast forward a couple of hours and it had re-entered and was sitting at over -50% loss and to top it off it was completely out of range.
LOL
I decided to take over to manage it manually - Why?
Because it passed most of my filters - and except it being a MUSK token, i didnt see anything obvously wrong with it. Plus it was in the first 24 hour of its life so I expecting atleast another pump to help me exit.
Stayed up till 4AM until it recovered enough to net me another 10% profit.
lesson for me was Preparation + patience over emotions.

Imagine closing in big loss, two positions, both out of range... just to watch the coin pump 1 hour later, siting again in both ranges.
The pain is real...

I am suffering from some viral infection, fever, cough, weakness, and been on the bed mostly for the day. But again LazyPandaBot v2 doing great work in grinding out fees from the boring market. Hope it continues and hope I recover faster so I can be more productive.
Never stop grinding.
