@pcshipp I have a lot of questions. What criteria make a user an “Active User”? I think this proofs your users find it valuable. Now you need to find out if the find it valuable enough to pay for it…

It's been 45 days since I launched my third app, and it's still stuck at $0 MRR. - $0 MRR - $0 revenue - 935 active users Should I give up, or give it one more try?

If you are planning to move to sf to build a startup, getting into a top accelerator should be your #1 priority. It makes finding clients, partners, VCs dramatically easier and it saves you years of grinding for the same opportunities.

@PrimeErwin the honest answer is that accelerators have their advantages, but they also come with strings attached you're often sacrificing equity and autonomy in favor of a short-term boost

This is the only way to approach life because if not, then we will be overly focused on the negative side of results or the outcomes of any act done. Think for some time about the positive side 100% of the time when awake and this approach can totally change the trajectory of any individual's life.

@garrytan A great product alone doesn’t prevent churn. You also need a retention strategy that helps users realize its value and gives them reasons to keep coming back.

If you're wading in the swamp of churn prevention, it's already too late. The product sucks and you're just trying to move a few percentage points. The faster path to a high retention low churn is actually having a real awesome product. Everything else is a small side effect.

@jonbma When we’ve had enough of AI, human-made creations will become premium. Writing. Products. Designs. Art. As AI-generated work becomes generic, originality and human creativity will become more valuable.

I still use Figma every single day even though we use Claude Design / Claude code ... its still the place to go to make design changes and bring in our own authentic touch and feel for product. Market is over reacting to design is dead. In a world of AI slop, people will want well designed products created by humans. Just see world class metrics from Figma. >$1.3B ARR >46% YoY ARR growth >7.2x EV / ARR (best in class trades at 20x+) If design were dead, Figma would be a $0. Business has >$1B ARR.

Never been more bullish on design and Figma than seeing Jason be negative. Looking forward to proving you wrong. Again.

Best hires you can make for your brand: 1. COO ( good salary + bonus + equity deal ) 2. Logisitcs / Demand planner 3. Retention / Subscription startegist 4. Partial CFO (no need full time with AI) 5. Head of Product 6. Head of growth (funnels, cro, omnichannel, retail)

Growth, product marketing, and ecosystem development are all just different forms of marketing for technology products. The channels, metrics, and audiences may differ, but the goal is the same: help great products reach the right users, drive meaningful adoption, and create lasting value.

“sell your possessions and give to the poor” He didn’t say give your possessions away. To sell possessions you need to first create or acquire possessions that people want. To maximize how many possessions one can sell would be to build the best products with the best product market fit at the maximum roi reinvested back into growth, and not personal consumption. Jesus wrote the original startup guide.

While he’s giving lectures on the teachings of Jesus, he’s doing this. Embrace your capital accumulation as your sacred right! Do not give away money to charity! Be relentlessly greedy and pursue absolute power. Just like Jesus taught on the gospels of Matthew and Luke!

@theperryecom There’s a Unicorn Product being built by out there today. Having a great product is one thing and being able to sell it… that’s another thing.

1 thing I struggled with for the longest time was product research. I believed that there was a unicorn product we all had to find. These days the only belief is some products sell better than others, but most products can sell if you can market them so well. You can almost create your own winning products
