@Cointelegraph @ledger care to explain how your customers mailing addresses got leaked ?

@bjnpck @yearnfi @stablewatchHQ DeFi builders should create vaults that use Liquity to max out the yield of a long ETH position (farm with cheaply borrowed stable)
Institutions with ETH should have a look, if compliance isn’t a problem.
hey @fundstrat have you heard of Liquity?
English

@bjnpck @yearnfi @stablewatchHQ Liquity is perfect for my use case: long-term leveraged long ETH. I used to use AAVE, but switched to Liquity due to the recent event.
I found out that:
the borrow rate is much lower.
I can use blue chip LST for extra yield
No one can add shitty collateral.

Many people have asked me why Morpho has not been more aggressive in positioning our model against existing ones over the past month.
Recent events have made the case for Morpho obvious: permissionless, isolated lending markets are the only architecture that can scale onchain finance safely.
That said, crypto sadly has a reputation of being brutal, toxic, and full of grave dancing. But this is not us. It’s not the brand we want to build with Morpho. Nor is it the impression we want people to have of crypto.
A brand is defined by the actions you take, in the eyes of the people who matter most to you. And most people who matter to us already understand why Morpho is different… and if they did not, we explained in private, not on twitter.
We have deep confidence in ourselves, model, and our mission. We don't need to tear others down to prove it.

@Ledger @ethereumfndn ok, good to see that you guys are meaningfully contributing to the space 👍🏻 I will give you that. But I’m still mad about the data leak

Hi @kchau, we appreciate your efforts to warn others about these scam attempts.
Scammers impersonating Ledger and Ledger representatives are unfortunately common. While we actively report and block scammers, we can't control what accounts - real or bots - choose to say in their letters, emails, websites, calls, bios or usernames on X. This remains an ongoing challenge across platforms.
Always remember: Ledger will never call, DM, or ask for your 24-word recovery phrase. If someone does, it's a scam. Stay cautious, keep your crypto safe and always Clear Sign transactions where possible.
Please don't engage with accounts claiming to be Ledger employees or anyone offering to help recover funds. For support and technical assistance, connect with our support team directly at support.ledger.com/contact-us

@StaniKulechov @GolemFoundation @aave Stani, what’s the implication of DeFi United? If any participant protocols suffer from loss / hack in the future, would Aave be morally obligated to help them recover the loss too?
English

Golem Foundation has executed the transaction contributing to rsETH recovery effort led by @aave.
It's been incredibly heartwarming to see all the positive sentiment and seeing the whole ecosystem come together at a time like this.
DeFi United.

A 2005 state-designed worm designed to corrupt physics simulations sat undetected on VirusTotal for nearly a decade. Fast16, intercepted executable files at the kernel level and silently rewrote floating-point calculations to make them produce slightly wrong answers. Targets: high-precision engineering suites used for structural analysis, crash simulations, and physical process modeling, including LS-DYNA, a tool cited in reports on Iran's nuclear weapons research. The sabotage vector relied on deployment of the driver across a network via worm, corrupting calculations on every machine, and eliminating the possibility of cross-checking results against a clean system. Stuxnet got the documentary. Fast16 got twenty years of nothing. sentinelone.com/labs/fast16-my…

GTA 6 is about to create more millionaires than 99% of startups.
If you're locked in on release, you could change your life in a month.

Some personal news* I've recently joined @aave 👻 as Chief Strategy and Business Officer.
After ~4 months of rest and reflection regarding the state of the industry, my personal life, and my ambitions, I feel more invigorated and determined than ever to contribute to the crypto space.
When I stepped away from @AvaLabs earlier this year, I said I'd take time to think carefully about where I could contribute most. I’m grateful for the awesome opportunities I've been able to consider.
The answer became clear over the past months and many conversations with @StaniKulechov and the Aave Labs team. I've long known Stani and Emilio and admired their work. Like them, I believe the future of finance is onchain, and Aave is at the center of this evolution.
Aave has the opportunity to provide a better way to borrow and lend, and to build credit markets at internet scale. The legacy financial system is slow, fragmented, and quietly extractive, and most of the world is underserved by it. Aave has spent years proving, in production and across cycles, that an open and programmable alternative works at scale. The next chapter is about turning that foundation into the credit and capital markets layer of the internet.
In this new role, I'll lead strategy, business development, and core operational functions, working closely with Stani and the team to strengthen what's already working while pursuing the next set of opportunities ahead of us.
I'm joining at a pivotal moment. The events of the past week have made clear there's real work to be done and lessons to be drawn. I’ve been working non-stop with the team on the recovery effort this past week and I have no doubt that Aave will emerge even stronger. What I've seen up close is grit, focus, and determination under pressure. This is exactly the kind of team I want to build alongside of, and it makes me even more confident about where this is all headed.
